Baron by the Sea is beautifully decorated in an elegant but comfortable beach style and thoughtfully stocked with an abundance of amenities. Situated at the north end of the Cape; you can bike or walk to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, and just a few steps to the sand and water’s edge. Swim, kayak, paddle board and play in the gulf and bay. This home is situated in one of the most prestigious developments on Cape San Blas. It is directly across the street from the awesome community pool and is just a short walk to the community's private beach access. The ground floor has parking for up to 4 cars, a hot tub, an outdoor shower, fire pit, kayak and beach cart. This is a reverse floor plan so, the kitchen, dining and living rooms are on the top floor which offers the best gulf views. Vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows provide a bright, airy and open gathering space. There is a large, screened porch which offers outstanding views to the gulf and community pool. The decks provide a venue for relaxing and taking in the view. The dining table seats 6, with an additional four seats at the kitchen island and a six-seat dining table on the deck. The kitchen is loaded with prep and serving amenities, stainless appliances and plenty of granite counter space. This wonderful home sleeps 10. First Level: \*Parking for 4 vehicles \*Hot tub \*Propane grill \*Outdoor Shower \*Paver patio w/fire pit Second Level: The second level is the “bedroom” level. There are a total of three bedrooms and two baths on this floor. \*Bedroom 1: Two bunk beds, sleeps four (shares a bathroom w/bedroom 2) \*Bedroom 2: Queen bed, with shared gulf view balcony (shares bathroom w/bedroom 1) \*Bedroom 3: Queen bed, private bath w/double vanity, shared gulf view balcony (this is the master bedroom) Third Level: \*This is the main living area, but also includes a bedroom and full bathroom. \*Bedroom 4: Queen bed \*Full bathroom \*Kitchen: side by side refrigerator w/ice maker, oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, drip and Keurig coffee maker, crock pot, blender along with plenty of prep, serving and storage utensils. \*Dining area seats 6 w/4 seats at the island \*Living room w/casual seating, TV, cable, DVD player, books, games \*Screened porch with dining table which seats 6 and additional casual seating. Vrbo has a “Extenuating-Circumstances-Policy” that “protects you” for things beyond your control. Look it up. Things like mandatory evacuations. We were required to vacate the cape after less than 48 hours. The host refused to abide by the VRBO policy with the explanation that they reimbursed for two days only because we choose not to return after the mandatory evacuation had lifted. Who goes back after a cat five hurricane rolls through following a mandatory evacuation? House is a nice house - “Be Our Guest” gave me a zero star rating because I asked VRBO to enforce their own policy which is both petty and unprofessional. ##### Joe G. Our pup loved first trip to the beach and there was plenty of room for the gear we brought (trailer, kayak and paddleboards). Access to beach was easy. Had to drive a little ways to get our gear on the bay, but launches weren't crowded. Real nice spot and house. ##### Aaron J. We loved this beach house! It was perfect for a family get away and was great to have our pets with us. It was much closer to the beach boardwalk which was a great surprise. The living space is on the 3rd Floor which was fine for us but if you have guests who have trouble with stairs that could be a problem. Will definitely consider staying here again! ##### Anna D.
