I read the reviews about the furniture being old and outdated, and it was, but not a huge problem. Unfortunately, the pool was disgusting and I could see the neighbors sparkling clean pools from the balcony. The A/C went out on our second day there and they had someone out to fix it the next day. The beach was beautiful and it was super convenient to walk right out and be in the sand. The house was spacious and generally clean despite being a little outdated. Let me get the bad out of the way before I move on to the good. The house is outdated. The furniture has definitely seen its days. That doesn't bother me as much. The house was just not clean. I can deal with an outdated house, old furniture, and all but when its not clean, it just makes the whole place look and feel dirty. I didn't come in looking for a 5 star resort, not even 4 star but average is at least clean right? The pool water was a green blue color and when compared to both next door neighbor's pools, it looked like a sad swamp. The charcoal grill was dirty and the top handle was broken so we didn't even try to use it. Now onto the good - LOCATION! This was our first time at Cape San Blas/Port St. Joe and we loved it here. Also, communicating with the property management company and check-in was smooth. They're quick to respond and were pleasant on the phone.
