Unfortunately, the Tidewater building itself is not good. The wait for an elevator was ridiculous and most times we took the hot stairs up and down. The beach is mostly occupied by their chairs and umbrella's. We could only set up in the wet sand. The staff would harass certain families but then let other people stay where they were. This condo has an amazing view of the ocean. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The only thing lacking was a corkscrew, so if you are a wine drinker, bring one! All the reviews say the elevators are horrible, we had no problem at all. The longest we waited was maybe 5 minutes. Condo had sandy all over the floor when we checked it. Elevator vacation! They were awful, we waited sometimes an hour to get on and when we did we were packed in like sardines.
