This condo features a spacious deck where you can dine overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a shared hot tub and a seasonally heated swimming pool, and such kid-friendly facilities as a lazy river, a mini-waterpark, and a toddler-friendly splash pad - all mere steps from the white sand beach! This beachfront resort sits on the gulf shores of Panama City Beach, in a prime location for swimming, surfing, fishing, and taking long walks on the sand. You'll be less than three miles west of Gulf World, the Russell-Fields Pier, and Pier Park, which is renowned for its 124 stores, fantastic dining, cinemas, and the Panama City Beach Skywheel. If you head to Rosemary Beach eight miles west, you can take a scenic drive along 30A; back at home, delicious food and drinks can be found at the Riptide Snack Bar right on the resort grounds. We stared here with 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The room is not over decorated so it was easy with a 1 year old and a 6 year old. Elevators were not the slowest we have had. Lots of waiting expected around check out time. Bar food and drinks were great. Easy walk to the beach. All pools and splash areas close when there is lightening in the area which we were not advised of ahead of time. We specifically chose this resort for the amenities in case it stormed on our trip. The home is far from the pier and pier park. The master bathroom had no garbage can which is a necessity for a woman. There is no air conditioning in the elevators. The unit is owned or managed by Vrbo and does not come with any spices or beach chairs or beach accessories to use like most private owned condos or homes come with. ##### Thomas M. Nov 9, 2023 #### Nice Condo, But No Cable TV as Other Reviewers Also Stated The condo was very nice! Perfect for our family reunion. However, some in our group wanted to watch a football game on ABC in the evening. I had read that other reviewers stated that the TVs and remotes do not work. Vacasa checked for me and stated that yes there was cable and the TVs worked. We discovered, when we arrived, that several remotes did not work. Only one remote worked for the TV in the living room and the master bedroom (we had quite a laugh - our group had a good sense of humor). Those wanting to watch the game, left to view the program at a nearby establishment. Basically, the TVs offers various channels with older programming from 1990's and 2000's that are through an app. You can also stream through your Netflix and You Tube accounts. Overall, we had a blast and enjoyed all the amenities that Splash offered, so the TV was not so important. It was just this one football game on a major commercial broadcast television network, like ABC. The owners do need to update this information and inform Vacasa. It was a disappointment for many reasons but I will start with the Condo we stayed in. It was filthy, toenail clippings on the floor, dirty furnishings in the living room. One of the chairs was torn, no extra blankets for the pullout sofa, kitchen was not adequately stocked and there were roaches in the kitchen. Even if the room has been up to par, the resort is terrible. There is no handicap accessibility to the beach. The pool deck around the splash pad and other pools was covered in green slime and needed to be cleaned. It is impossible to enjoy the beach because the resort puts out three rows of beach service chairs covering the majority of the beach. Beach service is nice for some but most people traveling with kids need a place for their tent and all the things needed for small ones to enjoy the beach like, a cooler of snacks, and sand toys. When the resort puts out 5 times more beach service chairs that needed, valuable beach space is wasted. That gets me back to the beach access.. all those like me who rely on a wagon to get all their kids and kids things to the beach have no easy way to get the wagon down the only access which is steep stairs. What should have been a time to relax was ruined by our choice of condo. NEVER AGAIN! ##### Brandi W.
