Looking for a home that will accommodate large or multiple families? La Vida del Sol is it!!! Our beach house features two covered porches appointed with relaxing wicker rockers and chairs, a huge deck overlooking the private pool and terrace level lanai (covered) adjacent to the pool. As you enter the driveway, you experience the tranquil view of the private pool area featuring comfortable lawn chairs, a dining table & chairs, gas grill, and outdoor shower; all enclosed for privacy by a white picket fence. Entering on the Terrace Level, the cozy media room opens directly onto the covered lanai for relaxing in the sun or shade while enjoying family and friends. There is a queen bedroom and full bath off the media room. The sofa in the media room also serves as a queen size bed, when needed. The double garage is filled with beach chairs, beach wagon, pool toys/floats, and bicycles, plus an extra refrigerator, washer and dryer for your convenience. The Main Level invites you into a wonderful open and spacious Great Room, Dining Room and Kitchen with Florida views and access to the secluded front covered porch – great for morning coffee. There is a full bath and two bedrooms (queen and double bunk) as well, with access to the large deck overlooking the pool. The Upper Level Master bedroom suite (queen and full bath) accesses a small balcony with a view of the pool. La Vida del Sol is spacious both inside and out and has four TV’s throughout the home • Media Room with a 55" Smart HD LED TV, Blueray home theater -CD, DVD, mp3 • 27” Flat screen TV in upper level Master Bedroom • 27” flat screen TV w/DVD player in Children’s room • Main floor 27” flat screen w/DVD player Wireless internet and cable are provided for your entertainment. We are located on a quiet residential street just off Hwy 30A at Seacrest Beach in White's Gulfview Estates, which is a “stone’s throw” west of trendy Alys Beach. Only 100 steps from the house, you’ll find the private beach boardwalk used exclusively for White's Gulfview residents. La Vida del Sol is perfect for vacationing with family and friends. If you're not a beach bum, South Walton is considered a golfer's paradise. There are numerous golf courses in the area. However, if golf isn't you're thing, you can take a morning stroll along the beach or bike, walk or jog the 18-mile path that winds along Scenic 30A passing several lakes and National parks offering gorgeous views of the Gulf. Shopaholics can browse the unique shops and boutiques and foodies will be delighted by the many casual or fine dining choices in nearby Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach & Seaside. I will say that our only two complaints would be more linens, definitely need more bath towels, and maybe an upgrade of some of the mattresses. It is in a great location, close to Publix, Shades and The Donut Hole restaurants (which we enjoy), shopping in Rosemary Beach and there is plenty of space for family. The pool area is nice as well with much needed shade. The garage had lots of pool/beach toys and chairs and a wagon to take items down to the beach. There is also a washer and dryer in the garage and an additional refrigerator which is helpful. A couple of cons: The owner needs to clean out the cupboards as there was no place to put groceries! Also, many of the pans/skillets/cookie sheets need to be replaced. (I'm not expecting All Clad but some of the pans are really shabby). Also, like most houses in this area, this is vertical living. If that's not for you, then heads up. Finally, while the private beach access is close, it's at least 60 steps down to the beach. (The beach is nice once you get there). Bad: TV in main family room is outdated (20” low res in cabinet) only “new TV” is in basement, “new leather furniture” is tired/outdated, linens are not updated, house has a lot of potential, just isn’t cared for. I texted property owner 3x at number listed on the fridge with no answer all week (Lisa 850-819-6936) - disappointing. We had black ants in lower level, all furniture under deck is rusted/outdated. Those new blue chairs were all in plastic in the garage so I got to put all those out to even use the pool area. Pool needs a deep clean - bottom is black. We have stayed at more than 20 houses with VRBO on these streets and this feels like bait/switch with the listing/reviews posted.
