Loved the view of the water from the wrap around balcony. We never felt unsafe walking to restaurants in the evening. Supermercado Rey was a 3 to 4 minute walk away. We have stayed in Casco Viejo several times. Many places are loud due to rooftop bars playing music until 3 am. This apartment was extremely quiet! Apartment had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Was quick walking distance to great coffee shops and only steps away from a delightful restaurant, LAMRO. Communication with the property was efficient and check in was smooth and easy. As it is located a little off the beaten path, be prepared for “rustic” surroundings. Otherwise, perfect stay with strong internet. The arrival and check in were horrible. For the week prior to arrival I messaged and called them often, since I knew I would not have any phone service. They never replied, so once there I had to borrow strangers service. Then they repeatedly gave the wrong lockbox code. Not great when standing in a sweltering foyer.
