Watercrest will be replacing balcony railings and painting the beachside exterior of the building from October 1 2025 to March 14, 2026\. During this time condos could have limited or no access to balconies while specific work is being completed. as outlined below for the condos we manage. \*\*The resort pool will be closed from 01/01/2026- 03/02/2026\. There is a chance it could face delays and not be reopened until 03/14/2026\. The beach access will be open during the pool closure. The Hot Tub and Kiddie pool will be opened unless weather requires a closure due to paint overspray on windy days. It will be impossbile to know the schedule for these dates in advance. Our rates have been discounted during these windows to provide guest with an economical stay during construction. Current Balcony Access Updates: Watercrest 401\. 901, 1201, 210, 510, 1510, 1710 - Balcony and Railing work has been completed and balcony access is now available effective November 15, 2025. Watercrest 203, 209, 408, 502, 902, 1102, 1403, 1603, 1509 - Are all being worked on with completion date for access to balconies effective 01/12/2026. Watercrest 207, 904, 1405 - Balconies will be closed effective 01/12/2026 until the balcony project is completed with anticipated completion date of 03/14/2026\. We are striving to complete this work by 03/01/2026 but weather could play a factor in this. Front of building Paint Dates 03/02/2026 to 05/24/226: This will not affect balconies or pool decks but construction noise will occur at times. Parking Overflow lot will be utltilized to accommodate guest vehicles. The "Ocean Pearl Retreat" is a FULLY renovated oceanfront 9th floor unit featuring breathtaking beach and ocean views while providing all the comfort of home. Watercrest 902 is a spacious condo that features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an updated kitchen and elegant living room which leads out to the magnificent eastward facing oceanfront balcony and sleeps 10 total. The owners provide guest with 2 FREE 2 person cabana chair and umbrella on the beach for guest to use during their stay (Mid March - Late October only). For a total of 4 Free Beach Chairs. The master bedroom hosts a king bed and private bath, with sliding glass doors to the extraordinary balcony. Located in the rear of the condo, the master suite allows you to kick back and enjoy the incredible view of the gulf for yourself. The spacious guest bedroom features 3 queen beds and direct access to the second full bathroom, a great space for your friends or family to join you on your getaway! The living room hosts a sleeper sofa, allowing the condo to sleep 10 people. With only 10 condos on a floor, units are more spacious and elevator wait times are generally minimal. Watercrest 902 is a beautifully decorated 2 BR 2 BA Gulf of Mexico beachfront condo. Watercrest offers a heated pool during fall, winter and spring. The complex has a tennis court, pickle ball area, shuffleboard and bocce ball area. The hand ball court is currently closed until summer of 2024\. Watercrest is located on the quiet side of Thomas drive and the complex has a Tiki Hut for snacks in the pool area that is open from Mid March to Late Sept. The best restaurants in PCB are located within a short walk down the beach or a short car ride down Thomas Drive. Walking distance or a short drive to Schooner's, Alvins Island, Newby's in the Curve, Shoreshack Pizza and Patches restaurant. Watercrest is located on the quiet end of PCB near the State Park and just steps from Schooner's which is the perfect lunch time or dinner destination when you need a break from the beach. Watercrest provides guest with large spacious beaches and the property will provide amenities that the entire family will enjoy. The condo is stocked with Bed linens, bath towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels, a couple of garbage bags and starter toilet paper, starter paper towels and courtesy soaps (you restock these items for your group during your stay). The kitchen is stocked with the essential pots and cooking pans, toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave, stove and fridge. It was clean, well appointed and extremely nice. Its time for the master room mattress to be replaced however. That was lumpy and had some deep low spots so I flipped it around and it was slight better. But it needs to be replaced. The facilities around the unit...need serious attention. The jacuzzi was low the entire time, the pool was nice but I will cover that later. Access to the beach was great and then the elevators. Well...lets say that one broke a few times and trapped people inside. They fix it enough and then after a few trips, trapped more people. So on Saturday when there is a heavy check in and a lot of "families" arriving....wait times for the remaining elevator were in excess of 20-30 min. As far as a family retreat...this place is everything you need for a family but for an adult getaway...its seriously lacking. The whole area is specific to families with cheap trinket shops, family dinner deals and what you will find is that the Watercrest pool is full of teens and not a relaxing experience at all. The jacuzzi is the same. No one did anything wrong, it was just loud, packed and kids EVERYWHERE> . As stated, if you are bringing the family..I assume its exactly what you want but for a couples retreat...go west to Destin instead. Would I rent at Watercrest again...yes. The room was again, fantastic. Both bedrooms were large & roomy; we really liked the open floor plan in the kitchen/dining area/living room. Furnishings were nice; kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Whole condo is spacious, including the balcony, which is huge! Nice, comfortable furniture throughout and everything was in perfect working order. You can tell the property is well cared for. The condo is at the quieter end of PCB and had fantastic veiws and amenities. Cort was a wonderful host, he greeted us and check in and check out and made our stay very comfortable. Very modern and comfortable interior. The deck on the patio had a fantastic view and sound of the ocean. Nice pool and hot tub as well. Kitchen was well appointed if you wanted to cook.
