So close to Rosemary Beach (literally 1 block) and a 3-4 minute walk to Alys Beach. Local Restaurants and shops, bike rentals, beach chair rentals, coffee and ice cream shops are all right outside this upscale gated community. Crabby Steve's is on the only restaurant located on the beach that is reserved for High Pointe owners and guests. Great ocean views from this wonderful condo that has such a good "beachy" feel. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit comfortably sleeps up to 10 people with a fully stocked kitchen, GE washer-dryer, 4 TVS, free Wifi, cable, and large balconies overlooking the ocean, pool and rooftops of Rosemary Beach. There are multiple outlets that do not work which makes it difficult to charge tech products and kitchen appliances. Additionally, the outdoor patio furtnitire needs updating as it is all rusted out and would pose a hazard to younger kids/toddlers. The most difficult situation was the pool being closed for the entire week we were there. It poked back up at 3pm on the Friday before we left. Although this isn’t the owners fault, the lack of proactive communication and outreach on their part was disappointing to say the least. Complex hot tub was nice, roomy, but bit over-chlorinated. Unit was not as clean as expected, quite dusty in areas. Needs some minor maintenance in bathrooms (towel bars, door knobs loose, tub drains need cleaning/adjustment. Kitchen was ok, had not seen a coil top range in a while. Beds and furniture was comfortable, except for one of the queen beds was quite "noisy" mattress. Stand alone ice maker was nice touch, but was frozen solid upon arrival, took two days to unthaw, then worked fine. Sliding doors to balcony need maintenance, very heavy and difficult to open.
