We did wish the floors were cleaned better, our feet were black from walking without shoes. If there was a mop in the unit I’d have been happy to mop. There was plenty of room for ten of us. The balcony is spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable! I wish the staff around were a bit more friendly. I didn’t get a hi or smile or wave unless I initiated it 98% of the time. We were a little upset to see the indoor pool under construction upon arrival. The variety of views don’t get any better than this. This floor to ceiling panorama offers sites of gorgeous ocean view teal waters, a relaxing pool, and the Pier Park cityscape. Friendly staff, who are attentive and continuously cleaning the lobbies and shared spaces. Easy check-in. Communication was thorough and kind with property management. 7th Floor location gives potential options for taking the elevators or the stairs. Parking process was not difficult and parking spaces were not hard to find. Inside the unit the washing machine worked great, the towels and linens were plush and plentiful. It felt lacking of places to hang towels and swimsuits to dry, could use more towel bars or hooks. Coffee machine is nice, a drip brew style that uses a normal round filter. You will need your own small dish liquid, pump hand soaps, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. There is no stash of seasonings for cooking, but there are nice dishes, kitchen gadgets/tools, appliances, cookware. Beds are comfy. With the 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 2 bunk beds, it was such a comfortable, spacious place to vacation. The showers are standard with old style sliding doors over a tub base, or a corner shower, and would be nicer if remodeled and updated, but it was clean enough and didn’t detract from comfort or enjoyment of this home away from home. This beautiful corner unit is everything I wanted a beach vacation to look and feel like. Views are magnificent. It was a positive, memorable experience. I’m thankful for such a nice place to stay. ##### Cristy T. Few things could be different but mainly just wear and tear of a condo. Easy to enter. There was no cable and we didn’t realize it, but one tv was a Roku so we just logged into our accounts to watch. Beds were very comfy. Cons: unit and living room furniture are very tired. One chair in living room is significantly stained. Dent in wall in hallway as well. Bedroom TVs are not hooked to cable or internet so can’t use. If light switches on wall are off then you cannot use outlets. Would have been nice to know that part. We thought phones were charging and they were not. Management responded quickly to questions but not very flexible in accommodating late checkouts. It was advertised as a 4 bed room but it's not. The bunk beds are in the hallway between the bathroom and another bedroom. The beds did seem to have sand in them but the bedding looked fresh and clean. Overall it was a great visit and I would select this unit again. The largest downfall is the amount of time you spend waiting for the elevator. Be prepared to take the stairs or wait. ##### Jessica S. Only 2 things that I would change would be the elevators situation at the condo and check in gets really busy and overwhelming and you wait forever. Also we had a realtor come into our condo while we were staying there and try to show it, we were confused and the realtor said she was told no one was staying there. ##### Bethany H. Very little issues with elevator wait times, thankfully. The condo was nice and the location was great, the resort was too big for my taste. Séjour de 7 nuits en août 2021 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Colin R. 22 juill. 2021 #### READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK! Part 1 We booked the week of July 4th for my family and good friends of ours. We had 4 adults and 5 children under the age of 8\. So please keep this in mind as it was a very busy week for travel and we had small children. The Elevators. The reviews that I read going into booking gave me second thoughts but it seemed okay and I just needed to be patient. WRONG. It completely alters your stay every time you step outside of your door. We considered ourselves lucky to be on floor 7 so that we could walk up and down for most of the week. Not by choice, but by necessity. It wasn't just slow or full elevators, the majority of our time the elevators were out of order. This is a 30 story building! We carried kids, bags, even the entire wagon full of things up and down the 7 floors. It was absolutely miserable. When we did get the chance to ride an elevator or needed to due to luggage, it was way longer than 5 minutes. In fact we ended our week-long stay there with a cart full of luggage and waiting on an elevator for 30 minutes - I wish I was exaggerating. Vacation Life Properties: Their communications were responsive but never quite helpful. When they tell you they are going to send door codes and to check your email spam, please do it!!! I noticed once we arrived that I never got that email. So I checked my spam folder, it was not there. I called and a kind woman let me know they actually never sent me the email with the door codes. "Sorry". Well that mistake cost me a late fee when registering with the resort. No reimbursement. The other issues that needed assistance prior to the trip never could be resolved. I wanted the second half of the payment through VRBO to be on a different credit card, despite VRBO saying it was possible, VLP said no. I asked for a pack-n-play for our 2 year old, you know since it's a family resort, VLP said no. They make clear that there will be no extra toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and trash bags before you go and they are not joking. The number of towels for 9 guests in a 10 person occupancy unit? 8\. So if you're into no frills, cleaning on your vacation, you found the right place. Run the equivalent of 7 floors away from this place. If you want to deal with VLP and the things that we did, just set your expectations at a 2 star level, and be prepared for the russian roulette that is the elevators. ##### Colin R.
