This resort condo offers a private balcony with views of the emerald Gulf of Mexico, as well as shared access to a seasonally heated pool, a hot tub, a lazy river, and a fitness center. When your kids have had their fill of building sandcastles, they can retreat to the mini-waterpark, the toddler-safe splash pad, or the donut/coffee shop. When you escape to Splash Resort, you'll have the best of Panama City Beach all around you. Go swimming, kayaking, surfing, and fishing right outside the resort, and come home to excellent food and drinks at the on-site Riptide Snack Bar. You'll be less than three miles from Gulf World, the Russell-Fields Pier, and Pier Park, which features over 100 stores, fantastic restaurants, movie theaters, and the Panama City Beach Skywheel. Beach services (chairs, umbrellas, and watersports) are only seasonal and available for an additional fee. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 4 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 5. They even had washing powder samples to do a couple loads of Laundry and dish washer powder to do dishes. Twin bunks were very handy for the smaller kids and the queen pull out couch/bed was actually very comfortable for my teen. Kitchen was stocked and had a big fridge. Washer and dryer was very handy to have. The room was stocked with extra toilet paper. They provided dishwasher tablets, and a few washer soap refills. Only thing I would suggest is that they need more drinking glasses and utensils to cook with. That was very limited. Balcony has a small table and chairs and a couple chairs to sit in. Our room was nice but really needed some attention! Our a/c hardly worked it took along time to cool off not sure it ever got down to the set temperature. The balcony door was broken my wife could barely open or close the door. The bed room and living room has way to many tv remotes the microwave vent fan cover was broken opened the microwave and it falls off in the floor. The bed sets up really high I’m 6ft tall it was at above my waist my wife and daughter wasn’t a fan of climbing up into the bed. Staff was great always friendly and helpful ##### Jarrod P. Dec 11, 2023 #### Splashy yet classy #BeautifulView This condo is on the 5th floor, not too high or too noisy. Stunning balcony view of the ocean. Lots of great amenities like a walk up bar right off the beach, a pop up snow cone hut, good pool selection (very kid friendly though). Would have been nice if the hot tub was further away from the kids splash area; it can get noisy down there. The lazy river looked nice. Everything was very clean from the lobby all the way to the condo. The main bed is very high off the ground but comfy. Only complaint in that room is the ceiling fan is very loud/creaky and lots of light leaks in through the blinds because of the walkway lighting, so curtains would definitely help. The master shower/tub didn’t drain super well, but it had good water pressure and temperature. The living area is very open and spacious once again with a killer view. Although, the door to the balcony is really hard to open and close. The beach outside this condo is nice and shallow with about two sand bars. Not many shells if that’s your thing. I know it’s a kids resort so I didn’t expect perfection but it definitely didn’t feel professionally cleaned prior to us checking in. Also, we booked this resort because of the splash pad but the big bucket that dumps water was so insanely rough that my toddlers wouldn’t go near it because it would just knock them over. It’s honestly enough to knock me down. It’s overkill. Lastly, the sea of rental chairs and the tent policy is enough for me not to come back. You’re basically forced to rent a chair or walk 200 yards to the nearest spot on the water which is terrible if you’re carrying babies and beach stuff. Lastly, count on a 5-15 minute wait every single time you need an elevator. Good price- but you get what you pay for. ##### David C. Feb 8, 2023 #### Great place for kids We like that there are 2 pools, a lazy river, a toddler splash pad and a big kid splash pad, all while being right on the beach. The room was great. We liked having a washer and dryer, so no dirty clothes to was at home. The only problem is the resort elevators. There are only 2 per tower and it takes a long time to get to where you are going. If you are wanting to go down, and the elevator opens to go up you might as well get on, if there is room. Feb 2, 2023 #### Unacceptable Conditions I am so dissatisfied with our stay. The condo was dirty. Sheets had sand in them as if the sheets had not been washed. Dust and filth behind the mattresses and on the headboard. Fifth of n the lamps. A leaking guest shower. A broken hide away sofa bed. The balcony didn’t lock and we have 4 small children. It was ridiculous! I plan to do every review I can find and post all of these pictures online. Customer service did nothing and they never even re-cleaned our condo after I told the of all of the issues. ##### TERRA G. I love the activities for the kids and it is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms ... I love Splash. I love the activities for the kids and it is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms have a gorgeous view. I’ve stayed there two other times and my stay was wonderful and my room was stunning however 504 W was not up to Splash standards whatsoever. The furniture is extremely scratched up and dated. The curtains were falling off the rod leading out to the balcony and could not be fixed. The couch smelled like throw up and I can’t even get started on the maintenance team that we tried to contact the very first day and after five days… still never heard from them or even had someone checking to see if the refrigerator worked so we didn’t lose $400 worth of food. We paid $4000 for the week of the 4th and I feel as if I completely flushed it down the toilet. This condo is not up to Splash standards and I was very disappointed. That $4000 of my hard earned money could easily fix the issues. Which I was assured were fixed after reading the other comments on this specific unit and calling ahead of time due to concerns.
