Check-out: 10am. \-The vapor seal for the patio door was affected by the last hurricane so there is some haze on parts of the glass, but it is only cosmetic. \-Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced due to fire code. \-All occupants' names and ages must be provided to be registered as authorized guests. You may be required to show ID during your stay for age verification. \-Not following house and/or resort rules may result in expulsion without refund. \-No partying allowed, out of respect for our friends who are our neighbors and have children. \-You are responsible for paying for any damaged or missing items. Let me know of any damage prior to checkout so I can plan accordingly in preparation for the next guest. \-A cleaning company cleans, launders, and restocks the unit after each guest. \-Early check-in and late check-out cannot be guaranteed and depend on the cleaning lady's schedule. The location was convenient and safe, though there was a lot of noise from upstairs. The property was clean and the booking process was smooth with a responsive host. However, it's worth noting that this rental is a "no-frills" option without extra amenities typical of vacation rentals. We missed having a cozy couch, a functional dresser top (currently used as a TV stand) ice cube trays in the freezer and beach gear. One drawback was the proximity to the beach. Carrying beach chairs, towels, a cooler and other gear required using the tram to get there. The property itself felt outdated and could benefit from some modernization. The furniture wasn't comfortable, but the mattress and bathroom vanity area were very good. The patio was unusable due to constant standing rain water, rusted and wobbly furniture and an impossible-to-use door. On the positive side, if you're planning to explore nearby attractions and only need a place to rest at night, this affordable rental could work well. In conclusion, this Edgewater/VRBO rental offers a budget-friendly, no-frills accommodation. While it may lack certain conveniences and ocean views, it is suitable for cost-conscious travelers.
