We had a great time at Splash resort but here are some things that could be addressed about this room:Balcony light doesn’t work.The bunk area is right when you walk in the door with the washer and dryer.It could be updated. The bar chairs are filthy.There are no full length mirrors. Hardly any cookware, plates, bowls, coffee cups, what they do have is not in good shape. The pool closes kind of early at 10:00pm. The couch bed was hard to pull out.The things we liked:The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are very big.The lazy river is great.We loved having the beach chairs included with room. Pros:1- The unit is spacious with lots of outdoor balcony space.2 - the Resort is great, and offers lots to do for families.3 - The views were fantastic and you could watch dolphins and sting rays from balcony.Cons1- Unit was not cleaned/vacummed or mopped. When we arrived we spent the first night cleaning the entire unit, from top to bottom and had to make a trip for cleaning supplies2 - The unit is worn out, there are broken tiles, black mold in bathrooms, the toilet paper rolls fell off constantly, there was damaged and missing furniture, the walls are all stained/ scratched and dented. The appliances are as well. There was very little pots and pans provided, and the ones there had teflon coming off while cooking.3 - There were numerous fake plants just taking up space and covered with dust which was just disgusting.4 - There is not enough pillows/blankets/towels for the amount of people that the condo holds. The mattresses were all stained and were very gross.5 - The remotes for all the tvs were missing batteries and were left open in the main room, we had to go out and purchase new batteries for all remotes.I shared this feedback with Pm the day we arrived and had never received an email back about this. They were very quick to answer booking questions, but once I arrived we didnt hear anything from there.Overall feedback is owner should invest a small amount into condo and cleaning and it could be a 5 star. ##### Flavio D. Lots of space to spread out and gorgeous views. The kitchen isn’t super stocked but it got us by for 4 days. The resort itself is showing some age but nothing major is broken or causes any issues. Being at the end of the strip, it was very quiet, however, not far away from the pier, bars and restaurants. The condo was very roomy and the view was exceptional !!! The floor in the unit was sticky but appeared to be clean. The problem may have been with the cleaner used on the floors. The cable was difficult to figure out and it would have helped to have directions (Roku channels vs cable access). A drawer on the dresser was broken, as well as a chair in the dining room and balcony. Overall, this was a great vacation. With a little upkeep, it would be a excellent. ##### Sherri C. Great place to stay with kids, and we loved the chairs and umbrella that came with the room! The kitchen had old pots and pans that needed thrown away. We had two people with diabetes and we stay in for our meals. It was a challenge cooking with the limited cookware & utensils. We also had family in another condo in the property and this location was the perfect size for hosting both at dinner. It also slept all of us well. The older kids LOVED the TVs in the bunkbed nook. There were a few small things that I informed the host about and they were quick to respond. We loved the big balcony and the large tub in the master bath was nice for the kids. If I could recommend something, it would be for the kitchen to have storage bowl options as my mother in law made pimento cheese and chicken salad and there wasn’t any bowls with lids to store it in. I would also recommend for a couple more kitchen towels, a couple more spatulas and some oven mits. And lastly I think both bathrooms need some ventilation. It seems the condo itself has some issues with allowing ventilation which is causing condensation to build up and causing some water damage to the ceilings in the bathrooms and in the living room there was something on the ceiling that almost looked like mold starting but I may be wrong about I being mold. I just think there needs to be some ventilation because we had issues with that as well as the floor getting condensation on it. Minor issues that could be fixed. The condo was nice and the beds were very comfortable. We’ve stayed in another unit at splash before, so we were already familiar with Splash resort. We really like it. We enjoyed our stay and were happy with our unit overall. We would stay again and recommend this place to others. ##### toni b.
