Unfortunately, our stay had several issues that made it less enjoyable. Every morning between 5–6 AM, we were woken up by the sound of dumpsters being emptied from nearby businesses.When we arrived, the condo had not been properly cleaned. The bathrooms were especially bad, with hair piles in the showers, dirty grout full of mildew, and thick layers of dust and grime on the baseboards. Lighting in the bathrooms was also very poor—many bulbs were burned out, and there were no ceiling or portable fans for ventilation. The vanity lights in the master bath were completely out, making it hard to get ready in the morning.Lastly, the beach house wasn’t stocked with any basic beach essentials such as a collapsible cooler, boogie boards, or towels, which we’ve found to be standard at other rentals in the area.Overall, the location is excellent, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities need serious improvement before we would consider staying here again. ##### Becky L. We were in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and across from the beach access. The townhouse was great and handyman was super communicative and helpful when we needed him for TV cable(very finicky) and fire alarm battery. Disappointed in a few things that should be included in a destination vacation spot mainly that beach towels weren’t provided. who flies with those? Also limited kitchen supplies for example; no base spices, mini cooler for beach, non glass cups etc. Overall it’s a beautiful property and so convenient to all the places you want to go! ##### Lauren D. It is in a perfect location right on Main Street close to the beach. We received an offer to arrive the night before at a reduced rate, but we were not able to do so due to our flights. However, we did arrive early on our check-in day and I called numerous times asking for an early check-in and each time I was told no that I needed to wait till 4 PM. I even offered to pay extra and the answer was still no. They said we would need to wait till the unit was clean and I explained to them that there was not a guest checking out that day as I was offered to come the night before, but they still will not allow us to check in until 4 PM. When 4 PM arrived and we went to check in the code did not work. The person I spoke to at the rental company had me try several codes and none of them worked. She said she would have to call me back. It was a good 40 minutes before we were able to get in the unit. The only reason we did get in was because I decided to call the maintenance number and they were the ones that gave me a working code. Needless to say after waiting all day to get into our unit and then not being able to even get in at 4 PM, we were not off to a good start.The only other thing I would mention is the unit does not have any beach towels. To be staying in close proximity to a beach town and not provide beach towels is unfortunate. So definitely bring your own beach towels if you come to this unit. Everything was wonderful but noticed floors could have been a little cleaner and since it’s what I would consider “end of season” the couches and chairs in living space were a little worn.
