Boasting 3900 s.f. of living space, this 5 bedroom home has four full baths and two half baths. The 4th floor Observation Room has a peekaboo view of the Gulf. On the first level there is a huge covered screened porch that opens to a plunge pool with fountain feature. The coffered ceilings plus the expansive space on the main level are jaw dropping. If that isn’t enough, this lovely home has a carriage house which can provide privacy for a small family or in-laws, and so much kitchen space, your entire group can cook together! Enjoy the pack n play in the home for your convenience. There are 4 bicycles included with this property, so take a ride to the beach and enjoy the fresh air! The home also has a private golf cart and incredible architectural features that might just make you want to extend your stay. The neighborhood has added perks, offering access to a putt putt course across the street, two neighborhood pools, beach access, nature trails and boardwalks. This 256-acre, gated community is ideally located directly on the Gulf of Mexico between Seaside and Rosemary Beach. WaterSound features two pools, Dunesider and Bridges, along four different boardwalks to enter the beach. Go exploring on boardwalks and nature trails that wind through the community, over the large pond, and directly to the Beach. With Horseshoe Park and Deer Lake State Park nearby, a 9 hole putt-putt course, bike and kayak rentals available, WaterSound is sure be the perfect peaceful beach vacation! It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. Seaside is a short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Its incredible architecture has helped to make it famous but also its faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has its own Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous. There are activities for everyone: kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here. The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017\. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. The property was close to Bruno's pizza, which was convenient for any last minute meals when needed. The golf cart and bikes that were provided were very helpful when carting guests to the beach, pool, or playground. Any issues we experienced during our stay were handled quickly by maintenance. We did learn that WaterSound only allows 3 vehicle passes for this property, and any additional vehicles must be stowed in overflow parking outside the WaterSound entrance. We also learned that the passes included with this home only allow certain pool and cart path access. This wasn't an issue, just something we discovered when attempting to visit certain areas of the WaterSound community. Overall it was a great stay and we'd definitely consider renting again. We love the privacy, safety and fewer crowds while staying in WaterSound. A few issues made this a 3.5-4.0 star stay. Check In process was not “as advertised” and Watersound Security was frustrating to deal with — the emailed QR code didn’t work 3 of 5 days. 2nd floor (main sleeping area) A/C unit was inop on arrival. Pool heating was intermittent and only worked <2 of 5 days — had to make several calls to restore pool heating. Property thermostats restricted to 72 degrees — was not mentioned in description. Overall the property seems tired. It needs a refresh (LR shag rug, bed linen, pressure washing, \[leaking\] coffee maker, obnoxious intermittent door locks, etc.). It wouldn’t take much to avoid guest frustration with having to “adult” during what is supposed to be a turnkey vacation. RealJoy \[property management\] was very easy to work with via phone and text—just really wish I didn’t have to be constantly engaged with them to resolve issues. ##### C m. We love the home and location. Plenty of space for a large family on a week vacation. The kitchen is stocked very well with items needed. We loved our stay and comfortably fit 7 people. The Home exceeded our expectations! It’s a stunning home. Beautifully decorated. Wonderfully equipped with everything that you need. We miss it!! The community is wonderful and exactly what we were looking for. We will be staying here again and again. The golf cart that is provided was a lifesaver.
