Sep 4, 2025 Check in was easy and we were able to check in an hour earlier than expected. The kitchen needed more items like mixing bowls. Wifi was great. Location was great. Septic concern but we were told the septic company was going to stop by to pump the septic tank. This is not something that is really controlled because it is outdoors but we did see a huge rat outside by the pool; were just not used to seeing that. Jul 30, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Check-in, communication #### Weekend Stay Let me start by saying that check-in is at four and thank God we didn't arrive until around six because it took us an hour for us and VRBO to get a hold of the host, VRBO was about to refund us all of our money which now I wish they would have because the host is trying to charge us for a queen mattress, comforter, and pillows because she claims it smelled of cigarettes smoke, which we never ever smoked inside the home. We only smoked on the front porch which if you look at the photo I uploaded in the house rules it clearly says smoking on front porch allowed. She is also trying to charge us because we checked out 30 minutes late due to our alarm clock not going off which if it wasn't for that we would have left on time,honest mistake. She is also trying to charge us for having a family member over that by the way did not stay the night was only there to help us unload things and sat out on the front porch when done to conversate. Just please be sure to take photos of everything and take notes of anything you feel you need to. I rented another house just for Saturday night to host a birthday for my daughter which I spent 1000 for just the night because we couldn't have more then eight people on this VRBO property so for her to charge us for having a family member simply helping us unload things and then sit on the porch to conversate is absurd.
