Beautifully updated throughout, this gulf-front condo in Tidewater Beach Resort features lovely furnishings, light vinyl flooring, and a polished kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The balcony offers incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico below, and the resort provides access to 600 feet of private beach (with free seasonal chair/umbrella service), multiple hot tubs, swimming pools, a game room, a theater, and a beachfront fitness center. With Pier Park - and its 124 stores, wonderful restaurants, and countless sources of entertainment - just over half a mile east, you'll find so much to do in the surrounding area. Try Dat Cajun Place CafĆ©, Runaway Island, Schooners Last Local Beach Bar, Pineapple Willyā€™s, and a variety of other favorite local restaurants, or head into downtown Panama City Beach (six miles east) to visit Ripley's, ZooWorld, WonderWorks, or Pirate's Island Adventure Golf. THINGS TO KNOW Reservations from March through October include beach service (two chairs and one umbrella). Guest Registration is required for all guests. Tidewater really should have some chairs near the elevators because the wait can be long. The water pressure in the master bath shower is very weak. Appliances were great. I give 3 stars, would actually give 1/2 if not for vacasa, due to the elevator wait. We stayed a few years ago, and we were told waiting was due to Father’s Day and sporting events. This trip wasn’t Father’s Day week, and I’m not certain about sporting events; I am sure this was our 2nd and last time staying at Tidewater. Looked exactly like the pictures in listing. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. Only problems we had, we were not made aware that it was motorcycle week, so VERY NOISY & busy. Would not recommend going at that time. Also lots of road construction in front of building. Would have been nice to know these things and we would have booked for a different time. ##### Linda M. Could use a new mattress as I could feel springs in spots. Regular holiday inn bathrooms. Nice big fridge but couldn’t open the door all the way to get food/beverages in and out due to proximity to stove. Bird poop became a nuisance on the balcony but could be easily fixed if we had a broom. Thanksgiving dinner from the restaurant was really good. ##### Jennifer M. Jul 8, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great stay super clean We had an absolutely amazing time in our condo, everything worked as it should it was just like it's online the refrigerator was ice when I got there there have been times we went to condos and they said it took 24 hours for the refrigerator to get cold and this one has ice on the door and water which helped a lot because that's all we drink usually water . We had a great time in the condo has an amazing view, you will see several reviews on the tidewater talking about how crappy the elevator services we did not experience that a lot because we did not like to go out and eat supper we like to go eat lunch and then eat supper at the condo so the boy can swim and we can enjoy the pool and beach in the cool of the evening, there were times where we had to wait 5 mins or so but we know this at the time , there are busy times at condo, supper time and chen in and check out time , you just learned to jump on and ride it even if it's the wrong way lol, most everyone has the same problem so everybody just packs in that elevator like a can of sardines. But the unit has everything you could ever need and when I say it was clean it was immaculate. Everything was fantastic. We booked through VRBO and managing company was vacassa, we received an email the day before with the code to get in and all the property details, they called us about 2 hours before checking I told them we were going to be there about 6:30 they said no problem we check in with security &they had our packet ready ##### christpher d. The condo itself wasn’t that bad however I feel the owner was intentionally deceitful. The main patio door in the living room is fixed to NOT open leaving the only access from the bedroom. I have an adult daughter that stayed with me who spent a lot of time out there, more if she had access from the living room. Once we were ready to go to sleep it cut her acess off. The bedroom should not be the only means to go out on the patio. My biggest complaint is with the building itself. The elevators are a joke and we wasted several hours ( yes hours) waiting on the elevator. The day we checked in only one elevator in the parking garage was working but by the time a luggage cart was finally available that one elevator went down leaving us to push the cart down multiple floors to get to the crosswalk. The elevators are not only slow but most of them don’t work properly. On this floor only one single button worked, the up button. When an elevator finally came we had to ride it all the way up then back down. This place has a huge amount of tourists so for this to be an issue is insane. They are clearly taking in a lot of money. Enough to fix this situation for sure. The best thing about our stay was waking up to see the ocean and the extremely comfortable bed. I would suggest checking other resorts and prices before staying here. Wished I had took the others reviews about the elevators seriously myself. Trust me, it will make you very angry after waiting for over 10 min each time you need to catch the elevator. ##### Shannon P. ### 8/10 Good #### Cornelious H.
