From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. It seemed like it took forever to change. The last day we stayed there were not many people staying. The guys working to resurface the garage made the passage way very tight. The place was clean and had decent furniture.The condo is also dog friendly so we brought our dog only to find out dogs are not allowed on the beach in Panama City. The amount of paperwork I had to complete before the stay was crazy. I received 16 emails from the property management company prior to my arrival. Also, before I could check in on my day of arrival I had to go to the management office and sign paperwork ( a separate location from the condo). The TV in the guest bedroom didn't work and we didn't have a spatula so I called the building management on Monday and they said they would get someone to fix the TV and would bring a spatula. On Thursday someone finally brought us a spatula and no one ever fixed the TV. The parking garage was also being paved so it was a one way drive through part of it and you had to wait on a light to turn green at the entrance before you could go up it. Grand Panama resort was very clean and the staff were very friendly . I would recommend this resort for a family trip or even a quite stay for two. The property management team tries to ensure they answer any questions and are prepared for your trip before arrival. Great location, right in the middle of everything. Very clean. Check-in was different bc I had to go to a separate location which was new to me but it wasn’t bad. I expected an email with door code, WiFi password, etc. after check in like usual, but the lady said she would text me the code after we left the office. Never did, so after getting to the room I had to call to get the code. Then, never got the WiFi info, had to message them again, so that was a little aggravating. Book that Condo was quick to respond to some cleaning issues we had. Good areas for dog walking. Glad we had a door code to the condo. The resort requires a check-in but had no personnel on duty. We were unable to obtain the parking pass, which was an additional $30 paid directly to the resort, or wristbands to access amenities or tags required for our pets. Security on duty said we were ok to try check-in the following day. No consistent schedule for desk personnel. Too many additional rules for the resort. Great condo but will pass on Grand Panama Resort for future visits. ##### Marilyn C. Jun 20, 2024 #### Not Great My family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children) returned home yesterday from our 5 night family vacation that you personally helped me book on Dec 30, 2023 and recommended. I am compelled to write you regarding the less than par conditions of this condo upon arrival: \* Musty odor in front bedroom when entering front door \* Floors black and gritty \* Kitchen silverware and plates NOT clean, still had dried food particles on them. Had to wash and clean before using. \* No kitchen pantry storage. We removed the decor on hall shelving to accomodate for our groceries \* Kitchen Island light burned out \* Guest bath disgustingly dirty, had dead bug on floor, light above shower burned out, broken electrical outlet \* Childrens bunk bed spread SOILED. Had to wash and clean before going to bed \* Curtain hooks in family room, master, guest bedrooms were broken off and didn't close properly \* Master bathroom light burned out \*Tall floor lamp in family room out. Very dark in this entire room. \*Outside patio chair sunk in, almost broken \*VERY long elevator wait \*Fire Alarm Alert to Evacuate Building deployed over loud speaker.
