There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. This property was soooo conveniently located. We loved being in a gated community and we went through a little under half a tank of gas during our whole stay. It's a walk to the beach and restaurants and short drives to stores and entertainment. The host provides a bunch of beach supplies and has an excellently equipped kitchen. The twin bunk beds are a little on the harder side but we do expect that from the pictures -- so no real complaints.
