Jul 28, 2025 #### Rustic but functional Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rustic cottage. Most homes in the neighborhood have been raised and rebuilt. This is completely vintage. Property location to the beach was phenomenal. Home was clean. Home was missing security features on back door and the yard gates did not close depsite ad stating it was secure for pets. Several outbuilding were sitting above ground with zero barrier to prevent pets, children or pests from accessing. Part of the driveway was gated and locked preventing access to the backyard where the outside shower was located. Second gate was inaccessible due to overgrowth of yard. This only left visitors to tract sand through the house to get to the backyard to wash off. There were exposed outlets and light non-water safe light fixtures in the makeshift bathroom shower. Second shower doors did not open properly. Tried cooking on stove top and oven which generated a lot of smoke for which there was no exhaust system. Overall, the house provided us a clean place to sleep and close proximity to the beach.
