The neighborhood pool is just across the street, and only three minute walk from the beach, or 0.25 miles. Alys Beach and The HUB are within one mile, Rosemary Beach is two miles down the road, and Seaside is about five miles from the property. The cottage is within a community of other cottages about 4 blocks from 30A. The community is very quiet and has easy access to the beach. It is only about 2 miles from Rosemary to the east. Seaside is only about 3 miles to the west. Of course the beach here is absolutely beautiful, but only accessible by walking down about 2 flights of stairs. The home is very well stocked in the kitchen with all of the things you might possible need if you plan on cooking. It is also supplied with 3 adult and 1 child's bike, several beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a buggy to cart everything to the nearby beach. We spent a lot of time on the screened in back porch, eating our meals, having drinks, or playing games. The property was neat and clean with plenty of towels. For our visit, there were dishwasher pods, Tupperware, and one roll of paper towels and toilet paper. The property manager was responsive, although we didn't really have any needs during the week. We loved this place and it was great for our family of four and our friends family of four also! My only suggestion to future renters (which is minor) is to bring more paper towels and toilet paper. Each bathroom had one roll and there was one partial roll of paper towels. We ended up only using the pool one time but it was so convenient. Perfect for my husband, me, our 2.5 year old son & both of the grandmothers. There were plenty of books for our son. We brought our own pack & play mattress and bedding but used the pack and play there which was so nice. We lugged our beach tent out the first day but then used the 2 umbrellas the rest of the time & it was perfect! Plenty of beach chairs too. The neighborhood was so cute. It was not a bad walk to the beach. The public beach access is better and easier boardwalk. We used the bikes and buggy one day which was fun. We were able to check in early which was wonderful. One of the best properties we have ever stay at in Magnolia Cottages! It is well equipped, super clear, and overall a fantastic house. Every cabinet was stocked in the kitchen and the overall house had everything you needed for a beach getaway. Also, the property manager was awesome with communication and extremely nice. The house was perfect for our large family and it was so nice to have all the baby items there so that we didn't have to bring them with us on our drive. They even had electrical covers on the outlets. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. Tons of storage space for clothing and suitcases - Lots of places to hang wet suits and towels - any and all pots/pans/utensils you could need - vacuum to tidy up. Having the pool so close was also a huge plus! The beach was a short walk but do be aware that the beach area directly below the Magnolia entrance is private to the beach front properties so it is better to walk further on the main road to the public entrance so you don't have to walk down on the actual beach carrying your gear. Jim and Jane were extremely responsive and helpful with a minor issue we had. We would definitely stay here again! ##### Katy P.
