The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach. The house was itself was spotless clean, well-equipped, and had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. It was truly a home away from home (Alexandria, La) The host Jeannie was incredibly friendly and very helpful, providing us with a binder filled with GREAT recommendations for local activities and dinning. Nice home with all the essentials that you need for a nice vacation. You can walk to the beach if you choose, a little tough on the little ones. We opted to drive. The owner is very attentive and helpful with anything you may need. There was plenty of towels and things for our whole family of six the entire week we stayed. The owner keeps beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, and even has a beach wagon you can use. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware, silverware, and dishes. Overall we absolutely loved this home and felt comfortable in it. Definitely would recommend it for any larger family and we will certainly be back! ##### Robin K. It's also located close to St. Andrews State Park, which was a great place to go relax away from the rest of the Spring Break crowd. The house was very clean and the rooms were perfect for my family of 5\. Everyone had their own room (with a TV) and there were plenty of bathrooms. There was great outdoor space as well.
