Cross over Hwy 98 for the public beach access off Orange Street South. Community amenities abound and include an outdoor pavilion, swimming pool, and dock right on Powell Lake. Pack a picnic and spend a day at the beach -- the white sand and emerald waters of the Gulf Coast are only a 15-minute walk away. Or ride the provided bikes and explore nature at the nearby state park, located approximately 0.5 miles away. LIVING AREA The open plan of the main living area allows a seamless flow for group entertainment. Watch a movie on the 65” flat-screen TV while relaxing on the sectional, or enjoy a beverage on one of two armchairs. Netflix and Disney+ Bundle with Hulu and ESPN are available. A ceiling fan and hardwood floors complete this airy space. KITCHEN & DINING Create a culinary masterpiece in the bright kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a plethora of gadgets -- including an Instant Pot. The large, center island has bar-style seating. Keep the conversation going at the adjacent dining area, outfitted with a wood table set for six. BEDROOMS & BATHS Located on the second floor, the master suite is furnished with a king bed, ceiling fan, and a 55-inch TV. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, double vanity, and separate water closet. There is also a walk-in closet, which can be accessed from the bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, 43-inch TV, and ceiling fan. The third bedroom is furnished with another 43-inch TV and two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds. Both of these rooms are on the second floor, along with a guest bathroom fitted with a tub/shower combination. A fourth guest room is on the first floor and has a queen bed, 43-inch TV, and a ceiling fan. There is also a half bath on the first floor. OUTDOOR AREAS The front porch is furnished with an outdoor couch – providing a nice spot for morning coffee. A second porch overlooking the woods has a gas grill and seating for six. Outdoor community areas include access to an unheated year-round pool and a dock, both about three blocks from home. THE LOCATION Grande Pointe is a quiet community located between Powell Lake and the Gulf of Mexico, with Camp Helen State Park to the east. This two-story home is only about a half-mile from beach access or the park’s entrance. Experience romantic restaurants with a small-town feel in the laid-back and charming Rosemary Beach, less than 2 miles away. The neighborhood and house were nice. But, the house just was not setup for 10 people. Not much furniture in the rooms except for beds so we had to just live out of the suitcases. There were not even enough chairs for ten people. We had to use the beach chairs in the closet. I had to go buy trash bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, bug spray, bath soap, hand soap for the bath rooms, spray cleaner, and beach towels. The microwave and range were not clean so I had to clean the kitchen before I went grocery shopping. I did not clean them before we checked out. We were provided a small sample soaps for the bathroom- for ten people is was used within a day and half. To top it all off, the beds had bugs and there was no cable. This house is just not equipped to to rent at high end. My family members made the most of it and we had a good time. ##### Kay I. Enjoyed the dock and closeness to beach. Management was quick to respond with any concerns. Loved the closet of beach umbrellas, sand toys, fishing poles, beach chairs etc! It was so nice to have all these for our beach days! Bikes are older (were dirty-I spent time cleaning them ) and some rusty, so we didn’t use them in the end. Some kitchen utensils some are broken and some rusty knives. Other than that we enjoyed our stay! ##### Elise S. But we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. It was about a mile bike ride to Rosemary Beach shopping and dining. The pool and dock were wonderful and our kids enjoyed swimming and jumping in the lake. The house is just a short walk or bike ride to the beach. This is a great section of beach which is more quiet than some of the places on 30A. The house was clean, well-stocked with beach items and kitchen items. We would go back in a heartbeat. Loved the quiet neighborhood and the location to beach, rosemary, shopping and Panama City. ##### Jamie B.
