Preregistering means wristbands are programmed and parking passes are created ahead of your arrival. Guests must stop by the front desk upon arrival to pick up wristbands and parking pass. The parking garage is located across the street from Tidewater Resort. Since it changes periodically, the parking garage gate code will be sent in your Safe Travels email. Guests may purchase two parking permits for a 1- or 2-bedroom unit. Cost for such passes is listed below. Parking spaces in the garage aren't assigned, so legally park where you are able to. Locate the skybridge on level 2; this will take you across the street to the main complex. After crossing the skybridge, go to the Tidewater desk, located on the ground floor. This is where you will pick up your parking passes as well as your amenity wristbands. Return to your car(s) and place the permit(s) as directed. Parking restrictions: No vehicle exceeding 7 feet, 2 inches in height is allowed in the garage. For the safety of all, pickups with extended beds or cabs, dual wheels, tow bars, and extended rear luggage carriers are only permitted to park in the north side, rear end of the garage. Roof luggage carriers must be removed before entering the garage. Rental golf carts, scooters, and bubble cars are not authorized to park in the garage or porte-cochere. Those in violation of these rules are subject to tow at the owner's/renter's expense. Amenity Wristbands: Guests registering at Tidewater must be over 25 years old and registration should occur at least 24 hours in advance of arrival (ideally, more than 24 hours prior). Amenity wristbands are allocated to guests at the Tidewater registration desk, located on the ground floor of the resort. Wristbands will be given to guests ages 12 and up at check-in. Guests are required to wear these wristbands while on the property. Fees for these wristbands vary, depending upon when you register. This fee includes the aforementioned parking permits. PREREGISTRATION FEES (preregistration must occur more than 24 hours in advance of arrival): about $55 + tax for a 2-bedroom unit. LATE REGISTRATION FEES: about $65 + tax for a 2-bedroom unit. About the Community/Property: Welcome to Tidewater Beach Resort, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and a prime location just 15 minutes from ECP Airport. Tidewater's onsite amenities include two outdoor pools (not heated) overlooking the Gulf, one heated indoor pool, two spa whirlpools, a fitness center, steam room, and sauna. Guests are within walking distance of Pier Park, featuring more than 100 shops, restaurants, and attractions — including The Grand IMAX Theater and Dolly Parton's Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show. Frank Brown Park, just a short drive away, offers more than 200 acres of sports fields, playgrounds, and walking trails. Other details to note: Proper ID wristbands are required to be worn at all times while on Tidewater Resort property. The replacement fee for each lost or stolen wristband is $25 plus tax. All guests must use the Walkover, as instructed by the Project Manager, for the Front Beach Road project. Trash chutes cannot be stuffed with cardboard boxes or other forms of large debris. Prior to disposal in the chutes, please bag any trash. All large items in need of disposal must be taken off site. Violators who are caught dumping trash inappropriately may be fined by the association and/or reported to local law enforcement. Upon booking, you'll receive timely communications about your trip. Access to your professionally cleaned and sanitized home is also convenient with our custom keyless locks. We were asked if we filled out our preregistration email to register for wristbands and pre check-in. I explained that I never received an email to preregister and did not know what they were talking about. The check in staff were extremely rude and proceeded to take my cell phone looking through my emails to prove me wrong which they were never able to do so. They explained that even though it did not appear to be my fault as the owner should have sent me the information, I would still be charged with a late registration due since it was not filled out 24 hours ahead of check in and I could take up reimbursement with the condo owner. Thankfully they could not figure out how to charge the additional late fee and eventually waived the fee but this was a whole 2 hour process. The condo itself is as stated. It was nice and clean. There were no linens provided for the pull out sofa (this may have been stated in the rental agreement? not sure). The real problem were the elevators in the hotel. It would take 30 mins to get an elevator big enough for our family to get on and this was with a handicapped grandmother and even after calling for security to help because of the long wait. Check out took 3 hours to get a an elevator down, get a cart, and get it back down to the parking garage. I will not be staying in this hotel again even if its no fault to the owner, the hotel experience was horrible. ##### Allison K.
