As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience at Shores of Panama, we’re currently undertaking a significant construction project from September 24, 2025, to March 1, 2026\. We want to keep you informed about the construction phases and how they might affect your stay. Construction Period:• Dates: September 2025 to March 2026• Affected Units: Balconies will be completely inaccessible and have obstructed views.• Activities: Construction work will occur daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Parking & Amenities: You will be charged a one-time fee that will apply to one vehicle. Each unit is provided with one parking spot assigned to the unit, but if you have more than one, extra fees will apply, and you will have to park in the spots that are marked yellow. Additional Information: Things to Know:- Some shared amenities, such as the tropical bar, coffee shop, and grill, are only open during peak season (March-October).- Guests must pay $100 directly to the resort upon check-in, which covers parking and wristbands for access to amenities.- During spring break, all occupants must be at least 25 years of age, and no alcohol is allowed on the beach the whole month of March. Pets are not allowed at this vacation rental.- Guest entry instructions: This rental uses an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest’s stay.- Guests must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. Oct 14, 2023 Liked: Check-in, location #### Great views but crowded area The views were great from the condo, easy beach access, but the beach was super busy (as I should have guessed by the size of the resort). We found it easier to load up our wagon and walk about a block to the public beach access, way less crowded there and room for your beach gear. The pool was pretty but was freezing the whole 10 days we were there, but that isn’t the condo owner/manager fault. Beds were comfy and not worn out like at some places we have stayed. The parking spot that comes with the unit is the best at the complex, but the food delivery people also like it and on multiple occasions someone was parked in my spot but I’d wait a while and it would end up being Uber eats or something similar. I asked security about it and the lady checked and since there wasn’t a parking pass in the car she said they couldn’t do anything, She said I would have to call the property manager to get it towed, but I never took it that far. ##### Bryan R. There are 23 floors and it takes at least 10 minutes to use the elevators anytime needed. We also were unable to enjoy the beach view from our condo as our AC unit could not regulate with blinds open. Our options were to either leave blinds closed and stay “cool” inside at 70 (at best if we were lucky) or have blinds open with the condo being 78 and uncomfortable. While the condo got the job done for our trip I am unlikely to visit this condo or resort again. Mar 14, 2024 #### It was okay. Room for improvement. The room itself was fine. Shower ran out of hot water very quickly, within 5-10 mins of one person using the shower. Also, our biggest frustration was the indoor pool was down for repairs during a rainy and cold weekend. Still had to pay the full facility fee. ##### Blaize M. I thought kitchen was well stocked, they had all the utensils and things we needed to cook our meals. I agree that it needs some up keep as far as paint chipping off some cabinets and walls. Hot water doesn’t stay hot long. It’s a corner condo so awesome view of the beach! Was stocked with towels, beach toys and umbrella, and board games. Was nice to all have our own full bathroom. Parking spot was first floor right when u pulled in garage so that was super convenient. The elevators do suck sometimes.. at times only one working but never took more than 10 minutes to get up or down. Ask not TOO high up to just use the stairs. This unit did not have sufficient enough wash clothes for 5 ppl, for one day. Had to pay for parking, but there was no assigned parking so there was no available, and I had a disabled family member so this was a major issue because the elevators in the building either didn’t work or was always filled to the max capacity, so we spent 4 hours just trying to get to the unit. There was noisy tenants above us that had loud music and screaming all night. This is just a few of the issues. I would not recommend this unit for a family looking to enjoy a relaxing stay at the beach. And, there was absolutely no way of communicating with the owners of the property because they did not provide any method of communication.
