The condo was great except for the overwhelming smell of bleach when we first arrived. It burned our eyes and throats so much that we had to leave the patio door open while we left for 3-4 hours. After that everything went well but we spent a lot of time waiting on elevators. ##### Voyageur vérifié Séjour de 2 nuits en mars 2023 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### peggy k. 7 mars 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Last minute getaway Our original booking at a different property was canceled 12 hours prior to check in due to mechanical issues, not much to choose from, and now we see why this property was still available. Tidewater resort was great, staff is great, the room had a great view, and I should stop there but I can’t. This unit needs a little TLC, along with adding a hair dryer, kcup coffee pot, which are items that are supplied by most units in nicer resorts like Tidewater Resort. Our biggest complaint is the thermostat which is controlled by owner, we complained 3 times about the temperature, and had maintenance look at the unit as well. At night the lowest was 73 degrees and daily was 78 degrees, this is ridiculous, tried closing the drapes to help with temperature, but then lost the view. Property manager called homeowner but temperature never changed. The freezer did not work, had to purchase ice throughout the week, and haul up 19 floors. We had to use towels along side the bed to wipe feet, due to being black from the floor before getting into bed. We did not cook or spend a lot of time in this room, maybe the floor was never mopped, Being on the 19th floor a lot of time waiting and riding on elevators. We are easy going people, and really don’t complain, but we will write this unit off our bucket list. We have stayed at Tidewater prior and have had a great experience. ##### peggy k. Started out a little rocky when we realized the AC would not turn on and the condo was stuffy when we walked in.
