There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. Pros: the resort has a lot to offer - it’s close to the beach, close to restaurants, close to grocery, secured property. The condo itself is at the back of the resort so leaving is super convenient as there is a gate very close by. You cannot enter through that gate though. The resort has a cafe/restaurant that is nice. Private beach access with bathrooms.
