The resort sits only three-quarters of a mile west of Pier Park, where you can stroll among 124 stores, great restaurants, a Grand IMAX movie theater, the Panama City Beach Skywheel, and the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater (the host of the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Unwined, and a summer concert series). The Russell-Fields Pier is three-quarters of a mile east, the wildlife shows of Gulf World are one mile east, and Shipwreck Island Waterpark is four miles east. Frank Brown Park is one mile north as well, and hosts Gulf Coast Jam every Labor Day weekend. THINGS TO KNOW Reservations from March through October include beach service (two chairs and one umbrella). Guest Registration is required for all guests. Guest registration includes parking passes and RFID wristbands. Failure to register will result in being denied check-in. Registration information will be provided in the confirmation email after booking. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. We loved the unit. It had the perfect amount of space for us (me, husband plus two little girls). We loved the complimentary beach chairs, the pool and the restaurant (food is great!). Our only complaints were that one of doors to the bunk room had come off its hinges and was just resting against a wall in the bunk room. My girls would have liked to be able to fully close that door. Also, the elevators are insane. We didn’t bother with a cart on our last day because we knew we’d never catch an elevator with enough space for one.
