Sunrise Beach Gulf-Front Condo | 14th Floor, Bunks, Pools & Walk to Pier Park Experience relaxed coastal living at this 14th-floor Gulf-view condominium at Sunrise Beach Resort, ideally located on the desirable west end of Panama City Beach. With private beach access, resort amenities, and walkable attractions, this residence offers both comfort and convenience. The thoughtfully designed interior includes a spacious living area with a queen sleeper sofa, Roku Smart TV, and direct access to the Gulf-view balcony. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and the soothing sound of waves below. ​​​​​​​The primary bedroom features a king bed, ocean views, and a private ensuite bathroom complete with a soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower. A built-in twin-over-twin bunk area near the second bathroom provides additional sleeping space and includes its own Roku TV. Guests enjoy full, private access to the unit throughout their stay. There is ice but it will not come out and there is no water connected to fridge. The balcony furniture was extremely uncomfortable. Maybe some cushions would help or upgrade balcony chairs. Two plastic ones feel were not sturdy and metal ones were not comfortable at all. The very outdated carpet made condo have an odor. It was a decent rental but would not rent again. Every condo we have ever stayed at usually has some seasonings such as salt and pepper and some beach items but there is absolutely nothing there. For a quick get away it was ok. They were not sent before we got there. It was not very clean.we washed all of our sheets before we slept on them. We didn’t use the sofa bed because food fell out of it when we pulled it out, so two 60 year old women had to sleep in bunk beds. The carpet was old and dirty so we kept our shoes on. There was black on the ceilings in the living room and kitchen, so we ate all of our meals outside or at restaurants. I did contact the property manager and they sent someone with bleach to clean the ceiling but the marks were still visible. I sent them pictures the next day but they did not reply. They did not send instructions on what to do before we left, so we did what we thought we should do. Multiple light bulbs were blown. Microwave was dirty. Coffee pot was dirty and I had to clean it before using. Stepped on a bare, rusty carpet nail that my son also stepped on. The balcony doors didn’t lock at all (not recommended for younger kids!). The closets were full of junk. Dresser knobs were missing and the dresser also had leftover books. No ac or ventilation in the bunk room so the kids got hot every night. They said we couldn’t take the cheap rubber bracelets home unless we paid 25 EACH (when it’s posted in the elevators they coat 5) and then they tried to charge me for one that accidentally broke (I guess from being re-used, which they say they sanitize so that may be why it broke after all, either way, gross to use somebody else’s bracelet). The underside of the first bathroom vanity is missing so there was a lot of leftover trash under that. The trash can isn’t even a full can and they don’t mention having to bring our own. They say there is a hair dryer but there wasn’t so I had to go buy one. I noticed another review mentioned not having a spatula and they said they take care of that but they never did. And they have no cookie sheets to bake on. I will never rent this unit again and will totally avoid the management company who controls it.
