Please note that we are able to accomodate big parties (up to 21 people). This is one of 3 spacious condos we own all within the same building! You can stay close to all of your family and friends! Reach out to me if you are interested in having us accomodate your entire crew! 17th floor, truly amazing condo available for rent - 1 bed/2 bathroom + bunkroom condo centrally located in PCB with private access to beach just footsteps away! We are located on 17th floor with elevators conveniently located just steps away. Our condo is close to end unit so it is quiet and peaceful! Pools are located on 1st, 4th and 10th floor. We have a total of 5 pools; the main pool has a tiki bar where you can order food and drinks! We have 2 hot tubs and a heated pool on the property as well as a mini golf course! On 1st floor you have access to stores on the property, candy shop, ice cream shop, hair/nail salon, taco bar, sandwich shop, shows, and all you can eat world famous 'Wharf Buffet'. Our condo is centrally located at Laketown Wharf resort. It is a very spacious unit with 1,047 square feet of living space (Biggest floor plan for a 1 bedroom unit that comfortably sleeps 6-7 people in Panama City Beach)! Our oversized balcony has views of the gorgeous lake and Panama City Beach! There are beach and skyline view of Panama City from the bedroom window and from the front door access. We also have nightly water shows with music that can be watched nightly from the balcony. We are located in the heart of the city with lots of exciting things to do within walking distance. Across the street we have Walmart, Ripley's Believe It or Not and Upside down activity center. We're also minutes of driving to the zoo, golf courses, Pier Park and tons of mini golf courses. On the other side of the street is the popular Pineapple Willy's Restaurant with gorgeous views of Panama City's sunsets over the beach. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Our condo comes with fully stock kitchen with coffee machine, pots, and pans, toaster, blender, toaster oven, etc. Full size washer and dryer. Smart TV in the living room and another TV in master bedroom. Living room TV has access to Netflix, Hulu and other streaming platforms. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: We have a king size bed in master bedroom (sleeps 2), bunk beds that sleep additional 2 guests, and a sofa in living room that can sleep an additional person. We also provide 2 folding cots that can sleep 2 additional people. This condo sleeps 6\. If you are needing to sleep additional guests, you MUST notify owner or risk eviction. RESORT FEE: There is a one time resort fee of $87 that is to be paid online. The resort fee covers parking, wristbands and use of all amenities at the resort. Please be mindful of this when checking in. When you book with us you will receive a rental agreement where you will see the link to log in and pay the resort fee. ADDITIONAL ITEMS INCLUDED: Several beach chairs are available for your use. \*\*\*Pets: ONLY service animals or Emotional Support Animals are permitted per HOA rules. You must have paperwork for your pet in order for pet to be allowed onto the property. \*\*\*PLEASE NOTE OUR UNIT IS ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING (Violating this policy will affect your security deposit). \*\*\*Garage parking is available on the premises. \*\*\*You MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO RESERVE. The saddest time is when we head back north to Michigan. The view from the balcony is priceless, from the seventeen floor you can see the gulf, a lake with a watershow, a golf course, the bridge over looking Panama Beach on the other side two amusement parks, its unreal. The condo is equipped with everything, even a 52 inch tv. The fishing pier that is a short distance away offers a nice walk and great fishing, you can rent a pole or bring your own. Restaurants are great but the condo is so good who wants to go out and eat. We are so grateful to have this opportunity to enjoy Florida this much. We plan to make many trips back. ##### Vicki C. The McGuire's are great people to rent from, very easy to reach and deal with. The room was clean and very accommodating as well. They had beach chairs, floats, as well as beach towels! This was far above and beyond what I have come to expect from a rental at Laketown. As far as the rooms go, it is all that one could expect or would expect at this resort. Beautiful view of the lake and nightly light show. I've been coming to Laketown Wharf since they opened, I can say that I would definitely recommend the McGuire's rentals to anybody. Sep 4, 2013 #### Nice and lots of great ammenities The condo was really nice and comfortable. I liked that there was enough toilet paper/soap/dishwashing detergent so I didn't have to buy extra. The evening water show was great and we loved all of the pools. Even though it's not directly on the beach, the walk really isn't that far. It was nice being able to walk to Walmart, Waffle House, Pineapple Willey's, and the gas station. Unfortunately the codo was struck by lightning during our stay so many of the elevators were down, which is no fun when you are on the 17th floor. By the next day or two we were able to call security and they would ride up to our floor to get us, so that was impressive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. ##### Christie R. ### 6/10 Okay #### Noah S. Check in was easy since we arrived late, but if you are checking in at normal hours of the day, you will be waiting for quite a long time. Place was fine, appliances were outdated, the dishwasher is falling apart, and the kitchen stuff is quite old. Internet was VERY slow and the provided password was incorrect, along with the door code to the beach. Sheets were not very clean, no soap in bathrooms or toiletries like the listing said. There were also no move out instructions or cleaning supplies to use for the end of the trip. Building itself was okay, quite busy and the elevators broke at one point, causing absolute chaos trying to get up to the 17th floor. Beach was the nicest part about the condo, great water and sand with lots to do. Owner was responsive quickly and did answer all our questions if needed. ##### Noah S. There was a pack and play available to use for our infant son. We didn't have any issues with the elevator situation as some people have commented about that but that seems to happen in summer season when it is more busy. There was black mold in our washing machine, we contacted the owner and he sent someone to come clean it out promptly. When I wiped up some water that fell on floor the paper towel came up as dirty, but I did not contact owner about this issue (just upset the floors were this dirty being charged a large cleaning fee, not owners fault) --- we choose to wear shoes inside, we typically do not wear shoes inside in home per our culture. The pots and pans should probably be updated, but most people eat out on vacation. If you are planning to do most of your cooking on vacation in the condo I suggest bring your own pots and pans (not an issue for us though for this stay, we choose to eat out). Everything else kitchen wise was nice and stocked. I think the cleaning fee is a little high considering all of the rules about the condo needing to be a certain way or being charged fees. BUT I can understand were owner / resort is coming from as well, just something to consider. All in all, great host as he responded promptly to the one issue we asked him about. Everything else in the condo was very clean, provided nice toiletries in bathrooms, dish soap, and a sample pack of detergent for washing clothes. Very comfortable place to stay, and would def. recommend and stay here in future. This resort is close to the beach, close to restaurants, and attractions. Our family had a great time. Coming all the way from Michigan to get away from the snow & cold for some sunshine & beach, we loved every minute of this place and the condo resort! The owners were so responsive to our needs as we had to make a date change in our reservation (almost a year difference) and they were so accomodating to do that for us. The condo was perfect for our family of five, extremely clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The 17th floor room provided beautiful panoramic views of both the lagoon side with the musical fountain at night as well as the ocean & stunning sunset and pool views out the front door. Our favorite part was all the amenities available at The Wharf: 5 pools, 2 hot tubs, putting green, lagoon, musical fountain, kiddie pool, bridges and walkways for the kids to safely roam and explore, and just the overall size of the layout of the resort's outdoor facilities was wonderful especially being jam-packed in a car for 18 hours. Also for covid related social distancing, it was perfect because of the amount of space we could walk around and spread out. The beautiful beach was just across the street and it was a convenient & easy walk from our room. We had a fantastic time here and would love to stay again. Tip: be patient and pack up everything the night before in case you hit elevator issues. During the first week, we we felt like we were the only tourists there and just the year-round residents so we had the whole place to ourselves. The second week, was Christmas and a baseball tourney was in town so it got packed with people causing extremely long waits for the elevator. Be mindful of that. This is not the fault or control of the owners. It caused a delay in our 10am check out so we tipped the cleaning lady extra. Overall, thank you for a wonderful family vacation! ##### Joe A.
