We were not on the bottom "walk out", but this unit was right by the stairs, so we could walk out our door and directly down the stairs to the pool and beach. It was walkable to Pier Park and many nearby restaurants. The beach was nice because it wasn't busy like the big hotels. My only issue was the cleanliness of the unit. It is old and needs updating/painting/cleaning. Maybe new towels, pillows, bedding, etc. would be great. Otherwise, it was perfect for our little vacation. ##### Joy S. It was perfect size for the two of us, and the fact that we were only steps away from the pool deck and the sand was the best. This is an older property but it’s perfect for people who don’t like high rises and don’t wanna have to deal with elevators and parking structures. We felt that the unit might benefit from having a mirror on top of the dresser...but of course the TV is there, so that would take some adjusting.
