However, we were surprised to find out the beach was actually about a 30-minute walk instead of the 6-minute walk listed in the description. We had a small glitch at checkin getting in to the guest house and the host immediately handled it. There is no WiFi in the carriage house and so we could not use our phones in there and there is not a TV in there. The couch in the den is not a comfy couch. This did not bother us but if your group wants to lounge around or watch a movie you might not like the den. We biked daily to the Santa Clara beach entrance and loved it. Prominence also no longer has a fitness center if you are wanting that. We loved the chill and ate there twice and the shopping there is great too. There were plenty of dishes for a large group. There are two washers and dryers which was very convenient for us. Parking can be either in the large two car garage or on the street. The communication with host and check-in/out process were great! Prominence was a great family place and the home was so close to The Big Chill. We also enjoyed our time at the pool. Beach access was not easy, but we drove to Santa Clara access for parking and bathrooms. All in all, the home was super clean and was very spacious! The host was extremely nice and if needed, was available. I would highly recommend this home. Our favorite part was that it had a separate little cottage attached that had a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette which is great for large families ##### doreen H. There was something going on at the pavilion everyday for our kids. The pools were very nice. Our host. Vicki was quick to answer any questions we had. We traveled to Grayton State Park to visit the beach almost everyday and it did not disappoint. ##### charles f.
