Welcome to Tahquitz Chalet! Nestled in a serene mountain setting, this charming chalet-style cabin blends rustic coziness with modern comfort. Relax on the expansive front deck, taking in sweeping views of treetops and ridgelines. Inside, enjoy high, open-beamed pine ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a sliding door that opens to the deck, enhancing indoor-outdoor living. The outdoor space features new seating, a dining area, and a hot tub tucked behind the cabin.  
The main level offers a cozy living room, a quaint kitchen, and a spacious bedroom with a King-sized bed. A full bathroom completes this level. Upstairs, the loft bedroom offers tree-top views through a large picture window and another King-sized bed for a restful night’s sleep.  
Tucked away in the pines, this retro cabin is private and peaceful. With just two steps up into the home, it offers easy access and a relaxing mountain retreat.  
  
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:  
  
Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.  
This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.  
  
\-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.  
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January  
  
\- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.  
  
Parking: Free parking is available for 2 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended). During winter months, the steep driveway can become icy.

\- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.  
  
\- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.  
  
\- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.  
  
\- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.  
  
\- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.  
  
Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

#### Rustic chalet, comfortable. Clean, beautiful area

Rustic property in the beautiful Idylwide. Very quiet, clean, generous with towels, but advise you to bring hand soap! Was very cold as elevation is greater than 6,000 feet, but the owner generously provided heaters which worked very well. Very helpful and responsive, beautiful area!!

The property is nice. A little old bit it has everything you need. There are some appliances old like the toaster and some pans. The tv and wifi work very well.

#### Great spot! 70's/80's vibe was cool.

Location was good. Was real short drive to town. You could start your hikes from the house, if you wanted. You can buy wood for fireplace for cheaper in town, than the delivery service, not to mention, you also have to order in advance for the weekends. There is a propane grill on site and you still need the fire permit to use it. This place has a basketball hoop too, but I couldn't find a basketball...so bring your own. Overall, I would book again, except, I would bring my dog next time. The town is very dog friendly!
