Palm Springs Hotel
We arrived late at night -10:30pm and our room was not ready. We requested late checkout and were told we would be charged an extra fee. Linens had stains on them.

Excellent location!
This was my first time in Palm Springs, thus we (my friend and I) were not sure what to expect. Our stay at Spa Resort Casino turned out to be wonderful!! The hotel is conveniently located around many restaurants and shops. We were about a block away from the main street. Walking distance was about 5 min to most restaurants. We absolutely loved the staff, pool, and casino. Staff were always helpful and eager to answer any questions. Upon check-in, I informed the hotel receptionist about this being our first time in Palm Springs. She was kind enough to inform us about hotel amenities (pool, Java Caliente, casino). She also suggested taking the complimentary hotel shuttle to the casino if we did not want to walk in the heat. However, this was not necessary. The casino is a very short walk away (next block). Our room was spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and I was able to easily fall asleep. We stayed for 3 days and had no problems with the hotel or our room. The only downside that I experienced was the pool. Our first day in the pool was very enjoyable. Our second time in the pool was not as enjoyable. There were kids playing with plastic cups and plastic wrappers in the pool. Thus, I kept seeing these items floating around. The parents should keep an eye on them and monitor their children while in the pool. It would also be helpful if the hotel staff monitored the pool as well. Aside from this I would highly recommend this hotel! It's perfect!

They should have comped this room!
We changed rooms as we had a loud crying baby next door, and the man next door seemed to enjoy coming in and out of his room which sounded like he was coming in our sliding balcony door. The second room only got worse. Besides the bath tub not draining at all, the blow dryer broken and replaced with a blow dryer that fell completely off the wall, a stinky room with smelly pillows, and both companion and I had worms in our luggage ( we didn't bring them with us from AZ). Did I mention the cat in the room? Ok, the beds were nice and we had a small fridge-those were the highlights over our 3 days there.

What a lovely "stay cation" we had! The hotel was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definetly go back!

Very old building that badly needs a remodel. That being said, the room was a pleasant suprise: clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Hotel staff was also very accomodating. They let us check in over three hours early after we arrived sooner than expected.

The only downside of this hotel is that they charge $35 to use the sauna/steam room. Other than that, I'm going to stay there again in the future.
