This sprawling vacation features spectacular mountain views. Inside the property you'll find soaring ceilings, an expansive floor plan, two fireplaces, a pool table, and walls of glass that open up to the backyard blurring the lines between indoor-outdoor living. The fabulous backyard features a large heated pool with a waterfall spa and plenty of occasional seating. You’ll also find a built-in fire pit, a lounge area, alfresco dining, a built-in bar, and a BBQ grill - plus cornhole and connect 4\. This vacation home is great for spending quality time with your travel companions. Beds: K, K, K, Q OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES The fabulous backyard was made for relaxing in the Palm Springs sunshine. It features a large pool at the center of the yard with an integrated waterfall spa surrounded by chaise lounges and plenty of occasional seating. You’ll also find alfresco dining for up to 8, a built-in bar, a BBQ grill, an outdoor lounge area, and a firepit lounge. There’s also cornhole and Connect 4\. It's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, and the mountain and city views are absolutely spectacular! \*\* The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. The foyer flows into the Great Room, with soaring ceilings, two pillars, a fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and a bar. There's even a breakfast table that converts to a game table for poker and pool! The formal Dining Room is on a lower level and flows into the gourmet kitchen. You'll also find a pool table and another flatscreen TV by the dining area - there's enough space here for your entire group to gather & relax! \*\* The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. \*\* SLEEPING QUARTERS All four bedrooms have been beautifully styled like a boutique hotel and feature a hotel-quality mattress, ample storage, and a flatscreen TV. The Primary Bedroom is on one end (and on the lowest level) of the house, and the Guest Rooms are all on the other end. The spacious Primary Bedroom has a King bed, a desk (great for remote working and learning), a gas fireplace, and direct access to the backyard. You'll also find an en suite bath with a double vanity. Guest Rooms 1 and 2 both have King beds, views to the pool area, and desks. They also share easy access to the Guest Bathroom in the hallway. Guest Room 3 has a Queen bed and an en suite bath. There is a fourth Guest Bathroom by the pool table, with direct access to the backyard. The house and pool were both roomy for 8 adults. It was great to have a BBQ also. Kitchen and bathrooms were both well equipped. The only negative point was that it was not very clean. There was dog hair everywhere, a lot of dog hair! Some of the dishes, pans and silverware needed cleaning before we could use them. The ceiling fans were caked with dirt/dust. I was afraid to turn it on. The location up near the hills of Palm Springs was great. Hiking trails are nearby and the views are fantastic. If it were cleaned up, I would stay again. Downsides include a call the DAY OF CHECK-IN that the pool & hot tub was refinished and we were unable to use the hot tub, AC inoperable the day of check in, shower head in the main bathroom unusable, very dirty floor throughout the house, and a handful of cockroaches in bedrooms found. The house is old but slightly updated just to clear basic needs and standards. When it’s 106 outside and the lowest you can set the AC to is 74, the house never really cools down. The house is even more beautiful and comfortable in person. We were a group from 18 to 79 and there was something for everyone. We had a few small issues and Acme was incredibly responsive and quick to make sure we had what we needed. The pool table and the card table/bumper pool were well used. And the pool, hot tub and the outdoor grounds were amazing. Every morning, a few of us did the nearby hike up the mountain that offered beautiful views. The master bedroom is very warm, the A/C didnt work well. The pool and the hot tub were good sizes. The pool was fairly dirty / cloudy when we arrived so that was a major disappointment. It cleared up after a couple days, but should’ve been clear the whole time. That’s why we rented the house. We liked the location, which is was central yet quite. Communication with the property managers was fantastic. They were extremely attentive and answered promptly to any questions I had. The house was somehow even better than it looked. Spacious, clean, fun decor and really functional. The pool was warm and inviting, the hot tub was great, once it got fixed and corn hole and pool were super fun. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked for a rental. We love to cook and it really had everything that we needed to create fabulous meals and cocktails. Maybe the best part was the location. The house is near the end of a cul de sac that ends in a lovely hiking trail. May 14, 2021 #### Absolute Paradise! Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved every minute of our stay here. The location is close to town, but in a lovely hillside neighbourhood that overlooks Palm Springs and the windmills. We took many walks around the neighborhood, which was lovely. The house is well maintained and is equipped with everything we could want. It was clean, and the decor was wonderful. When we arrived there were tiny ants in the kitchen, but Acme took care of it right away. Also, the people who maintain the pool and garden visited and they were so nice and helpful. This home made our vacation extra special and we were sad to leave.
