Tucked away in the mountainside of Palm Desert, you will discover Base Camp - your very own luxury desert retreat, a fully remodeled 9-bedroom, 5-bath private villa nestled in the beautiful mountainside of Palm Desert. Base Camp is a fully renovated oasis purposefully designed for our guests to enjoy the amenities of a boutique hotel with all the benefits of a modern private villa. The grounds at Base Camp feature not one, but two beautiful saltwater swimming pools, hot tub, hammock garden, fire pit, bocce ball court, sand volleyball and game room! We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests' and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties. Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier. DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE? TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee. CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED? Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings. WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS? All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper. There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets. CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME? We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered. DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS? Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert. DO YOU ALLOW PETS? The location is second to none and the outdoor space is a dream. They were super responsive, accommodating and super nice. It made the experience that much better. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette party and I will 100% be back. The house has privacy but is close to the downtown palm desert area. The only thing that would be better is the barroom situation got a little tight at times. We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The property itself is situated on a beautiful lot that backs up to private mountains. The home is stunning inside and out with beautiful design and very comfortable living areas. Both kids and adults spent time in both beautiful pools and we will definitely be returning at some point. Jen is one of the most responsive and professional property managers we have ever dealt with. She was unbelievably responsive and so eager to communicate. This is an A+ property and organization. We stayed at Base Camp for 4 nights and had a blast! We had at least 1 person in each room and had plenty of space, it did not feel crowded at all. I believe that Parties planning on staying there at maximum occupancy could do so and be very comfortable. The back yard is also very spacious and the pool has plenty of chair and towels and umbrellas — it feels like you’re at a resort pool. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, flatware, cutlery, etc. (unlike some vacation homes) and the bedrooms have plenty of towels and soaps — all the necessities Would definitely recommend! ##### Edward S. Really enjoyed the beach volleyball court, that was a big highlight! The view from the jacuzzi is gorgeous, very peaceful. All mattresses were very comfortable, everyone was appreciative of that. The Hammocks are a plus and so is the fire pit and the outdoor BBQ and dining area - so beautiful. Indoors well appointed with suble, calming, beautiful furnishings and great beds!
