Welcome to Lux Lounge, a stunning 1959 Butterfly Alexander home that’s been reimagined for modern living while preserving the vintage charm that made Palm Springs iconic. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood, this professionally designed 4-bedroom, 3-bath home is luxurious, colorful, and uniquely Palm Springs. With two spacious primary suites at opposite ends of the property, a retro-chic interior, and a show-stopping outdoor space, Lux Lounge is perfect for group getaways and stylish escapes. OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES  
The backyard at Lux Lounge is a private paradise made for desert days and warm desert nights. The oversized lot—tucked at the end of a cul-de-sac—is surrounded by tall privacy hedges and anchored by a sparkling kidney-shaped pool with a palm tree island. Relax in the bubbling attached spa or sip cocktails by the circular fire pit. The covered patio includes a misting system that keeps the al fresco dining area comfortable even in the summer sun. With plenty of loungers, umbrellas, two shaded patio areas, an outdoor shower, and lush landscaping, this retreat delivers the full Palm Springs experience—complete with postcard-worthy views of Mount San Jacinto.

INDOOR LIVING SPACES  
Inside, Lux Lounge combines the clean lines of classic midcentury architecture with modern upgrades and playful design. Exposed beam ceilings, gleaming white tile floors, and dramatic clerestory windows draw the eye upward, while walls of glass bring the outside in. The open-concept kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring sleek cabinetry, a gas range, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar for three, and a glass tile backsplash that pops against the natural light. The adjacent living and dining area includes a retro-modern sectional, HDTV, bold artwork, and a gas fireplace. Gather for a game night or simply relax while soaking up pool views from nearly every room.  
  
\*\* The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. \*\*  
  
SLEEPING QUARTERS  
The home has been masterfully expanded to maximize comfort and privacy for larger groups. The main Primary Suite at the west end of the house features a King bed, vaulted ceiling, clerestory windows, HDTV, and direct access to a private patio. The ensuite bath includes a dual-sink vanity and a large walk-in shower with a picture window facing the desert landscape. Nearby, two guest bedrooms—one King, one Queen—share a hallway bathroom and offer HDTVs, comfortable furnishings, and easy access to the common areas.  
  
The fourth bedroom is a casita-style Primary Suite, accessible through a private entrance from the front courtyard or the backyard. This ultra-private space features a King bed, HDTV, its own large ensuite bath with dual sinks, and a covered patio perfect for quiet morning coffee away from the main house.

Known for its iconic Alexander-built homes, wide streets, and mountain views, it offers both peace and proximity.
