The house itself is lovely - quiet neighborhood, breathtaking mountain backdrop, ideally located for all Palm Springs activities, the house feels fresh and updated and the decor is creative, fun and tasteful, the beds and sofas are super comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked and every bathroom and closet somehow has exactly what you might need tucked inside, the pool and patio are spacious and idyllic. The bathrooms are small but the showers are big and he provides hair dryers; the bedrooms are roomy with large closets and there's an iron/board if needed; the kitchen is big with all the amenities and the outside is a very large wrap around yard with no grass (like most of the homes in the area), there is a lot of cactus, may need to be careful with small children. We thought we might have a problem with the dogs and the cactus, but we didn't (guess they knew to stay away). The pool is in the front of the house with a wall around it for privacy. The pool is beautiful with it's two small waterfalls and it too was clean and is a welcome relief when the weather is hot out. There were umbrellas and pool floats to use in the garage. There are also bicycles to use if wanted. Billy allowed us to bring our two fur kids who just laid around all weekend with us but were afraid of the pool. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains and downtown Palm Springs is not very far at all if driving. Billy is a very gracious host. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Thanks Billy. ##### Sue B. The host Billy was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The location was great to get out to Joshua Tree for hiking or a short drive into town for dinner/shops. Also very close to the airport. My husband and I frequently rent properties on vacation rental websites, and from experience have learned that pictures aren't always accurate and you never really know how the property will be until arrival. We absolutely loved the house from the moment we walked in the door through checkout a week later. This house looks just like in the pictures: It is spacious, imaculate, modern, tastefully decorated, well appointed, and has a lot of natural light while still maintaining privacy. The heated pool and pool area are fantastic, with pool chairs and a fire pit, and the view of the mountains from the yard is absolutely beautiful. The large backyard is perfect for grilling and to let your dogs go outside. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house has beautiful landscaping lit up at night by a set of blue and pink spotlights. We enjoyed quiet walks around the neighborhood with our dogs, and found everyone in the neighborhood very pleasant. Billy and Jeff are excellent hosts. They were in touch prior to check-in with detailed instructions, and even reached out the day of check-in to let us know the house was ready early. During our stay, they reached out again to give us recommendations for fun activities, restaurants, and local hikes in addition to the information provided in the guest binder in the house.
