Reminiscent of the Palm Springs’ Viceroy Hotel, Villa Moda ties in all the comforts of modern living with the style and charm of the classic Hollywood Regency aesthetic. The living room, with its architectural fireplace, is a great gathering space for guests. This room opens up to the back garden of the home, where there is ample, private space for outdoor dining. This beautiful house was a DREAM! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this house. The midcentury modern architecture and decor were immaculate. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was more than well-equipped. We loved making fresh OJ using the oranges from the backyard orange tree and kitchen juicer. We loved swimming in the heated pool and hot tub. We swam in a clean pool which had pool lights making it more pleasing at night. The outdoor shower was a great plus! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plates and appliances. We had an issue with hot water in the casita but the property managers attended to issue right away :). Dan was great in communicating with us! It was as advertised and very comfortable. Our only two issues were the very late check in (5pm) and extremely early checkout (9am). There were no exceptions made to this rule. The second issue was the servicing of the pool, which meant that between 2pm and 6pm the pool was out of service (WED) right in the middle of our stay. Given we had a 5 day stay booked, it was not great to realistically only have 2.5 pool days. Other than this issues, the property itself was great, extremely comfortable and we look forward to staying here again. ##### James S. It's unclear who the actual manager is - the site says Sarah is the owner, there was one number in the checkin email, another number for the "retreat manager", some guy named Blake emailed me, and then another person emailed me about an additional contract. We loved the backyard and having access to fresh fruit on the trees! Pool was warm and hot tub heated up so quickly. My small complaints would be that the outside master shower's water pressure was not great and was so low it was hard to stand under. Also, painters came during our stay and worked - the paint fumes and workers walking around didn't make for a very private or relaxing time in the backyard that day.
