Our Starter Kit to you is designed to get you through your first day only, it may very well get you through 2 or 3 days as many of our guests will attest to, but our design is to get you through your first day before you may need to go to a grocery store.
Your Starter Kit: Your kitchen is fully equipped with pots & pans etc., nearly every utensil you need to use to cook. There is a starter kit in each bathroom of the following supplies: Facial tissues Toilet paper Liquid Hand soap Vanity travel pack soap, shampoo & lotion Paper towels Dishwashing liquid Dishwasher tablets Trash bags Laundry soap Dryer sheets
OPTIONAL: The Pool is NOT heated. The Jacuzzi is NOT heated. (Should your property be listed as having a Jacuzzi) However, please let reservations know if you would like to have the Pool/Jacuzzi heated. Pool HEAT- Flat rate of $65 per night. Contact Mark@ModMansions.com at least 2 days prior to arrival for this option. Pool is heated from 5am-9pm, to between 80°–85° If property is listed as having a Jacuzzi, then Jacuzzi & Pool HEAT combined OR separate has a flat rate of $65 per night. Our group of adult children and spouses came together from across the country for a long weekend. This home was perfect! Great communication with David, clean and lovely interior, kitchen ready for cooking, beautiful pool with a Mountain View all within a walk of downtown. This place is the bomb. 9 family members from NYC, Nashville, and the desert spent a week here and every one of us was distraught to see the week end. We walked to great restaurants and shopping -- and spent hours sitting and talking by the pool. The house itself was spotless upon arrival and the "property ambassador" was there to give us a detailed tour and instructions on how to operate every appliance and gadget. The beds and bedding were sublime and the kitchen fully stocked. We are already making plans for our next visit.

This was a beautiful house with impeccable decoration. It was like a transport back to 1960s Palm Springs and old California. The kids loved the pool and grounds. The rooms were comfortable. It was a lovely and easy walk into town. For an older house, we were amazed at how clean it was. It was also nice to have the in-law house with 2 bedrooms slightly separate from the main house- perfect for a group. David was very communicative and friendly and answered all texts and emails super quick. Highly recommend the house.

Three of us girlfriends travelled from Nevada to Palm Springs for an extended weekend with our adult girls. We managed to eat, drink and shop our way through Palm Springs! But the best part of the stay was the time we spent at the Celebrity Hideway lounging by the pool and enjoying this beautiful home. David was so responsive if there was anything we needed or if we had questions about anything regarding the home or the area. It is no small feat to keep 9 women happy but you certainly succeeded! Thanks for the wonderful, memorable weekend!

Stayed here with a group of friends and it was easily the most fantastic vacation rental I have ever stayed at. The house is meticulously appointed and has everything you could need. David and team were so hospitable and helpful and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place to stay in PS, this is by far the best. My friends and I will definitely be back!

This was such a great experience, and David, who checked me in and handled any communication was seriously so amazing. We experienced one of the only times there was a lightning/rain storm and David was very communicative with us throughout to make sure nothing went wrong or to see if we had any concerns (there were a few outages in the area). The house was set for everything we needed for the few days we were there in terms of household necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, initial toiletries etc) but just know that you will need to provide any kitchen staples so add things like olive oil and butter to your shopping list if you plan on cooking in :) But David was very upfront with that when we checked in so we were prepared to add what we needed to our list of goodies.
The neighborhood is so charming, with many celebrity homes dotting the surrounding area (made for some great walking tours, which David will share with you if you ask!).
Would DEFINITELY stay again and would recommend it for chill groups that want to lay by the pool, cook family style meals and just have a relaxing Palm Springs trip.

From our Property Ambassador to our accommodations, seriously, they took care of it and everything essential was provided. If I am ever in Palm Springs, CA again, I will be staying at this property. This is a great house for groups. Spacious rooms, separate casita, large dining room, all well kept and clean. The yard space was larger than we expected. Lot's of areas to relax, in addition to the resort style pool area. Stunning views from the grass area, especially during sunset hours. Communication with David, our onsite contact, was fast and welcoming. We forgot to pay for the pool to be heated and within 30 minutes someone was there to turn it on. The pool temperature was perfect. The surrounding neighborhood is incredible. I loved early morning walks, looking at these massive properties. We also all loved how close we were to restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. It became a morning ritual to grab coffee from Koffi. It was a 5 minute walk. Our stay was amazing but we did have one big drawback . They are not kidding when they say "no outdoor music." You can't have music or any loud noise (including screaming kids) outdoors 24/7, no exceptions or you will get evicted without refund. They do mention this at booking but we didn't realize how serious it was. This is apparently a city enforced ordinance for all vacation house rentals in the city of Palm Springs so we couldn't be upset with Mod Mansions. It was a bummer to not have music by the pool and to have to keep telling our kids to keep it down when they were having fun in the pool. We all adjusted to the strict outdoor rules and still had a wonderful time. This would probably be a better fit for adults who are perfectly fine with putting their earbuds in while relaxing by the pool. It truly is a nice place and you can't beat the location.

We had a spectacular time at this property. It has a great vibe, a fantastic pool, immaculately clean, and everything you could imagine for a home away from home. The no music outdoors rule was BIZARRE but we just talked instead!! And quiet time begins at 8pm but the restaurants and bars are literally 5-10 min walk so we had all the music and conversation we could stand until we shut them down at 2am. The beds were all really comfortable! Everyone was really happy. Communication was immediate by text with the owner. I would recommend this property without reservation.
