CITY ID#: 003310 This fabulous midcentury house is in the highly desirable Twin Palms neighborhood of South Palm Springs. Completely remodeled, this house stays true to its midcentury heritage while offering all the modern conveniences you expect from a first class vacation rental. Enter the courtyard door into a chic trellised outdoor foyer with bubbling fountain. Once you step into the house through the yellow front door you'll find a light and bright great room with high end furnishings and oversized art. No expense has been spared from walls of glass to the gas fireplace to the fully redone gourmet entertaining style kitchen. The kitchen features high-end appliances, a floating island, and is open to the living and dining rooms, all filled with natural light. Step outside to the back yard and you will find a redone saltwater pool and spa with great sunning areas and sweeping mountain views. There are multiple seating and lounging areas, including an outdoor dining area for 6 and chaise lounges with designer umbrellas. The fire pit is perfect for enjoying the evening with friends. The primary bedroom has a king bed, smart TV and slider out to a private patio. The spa-like bathroom has a double vanity, large walk-in shower with dual shower heads and a water closet. The guest bedroom features another king bed and smart TV, and has a full bath right across the hall with a tub/shower combo. To escape from the action, there is also a comfortable den with a smart TV and a built-in desk workstation. The detached casita will take your breath away with the comfortable furnishings, amazing mountain views, and oversized bathroom with walk in shower. The largest room in the house, it sits out by the pool and features a wall of sliding glass doors that open to the pool area and wrap around mountains. Complete with a king bed, en suite bathroom, and sitting area, this private retreat will make you feel like you're in a hotel suite. If you're looking for a luxury experience with midcentury flair, and only the best will do, this is the house for you! RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE: \*\*Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book. \*\*Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties. \*\*Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund. \*\*Included in your booking is an accidental damage waiver fee which applies to covered damage up to $2000\. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year in a row our family has rented both the La Verne and Bond houses simultaneously (including extended stays). The pictures do La Verne justice, but of course it is even better being there. I have seen at least one reviewer commenting on street noise as La Verne is a somewhat busy road. So I started by having a wary eye about this. My conclusion is that for us it 1\. wasn't overly noisy and 2\. it was 100% not an issue for us. As far as the property, what you see is what you get. It's fantastic and well located. Walk through the heart of Twin Palms to get your morning coffee at Koffi or breakfast at Elmers or the ACE Hotel. What we really love too is the whole personalized customer service experience we receive from Altamira, the rental company that manages the property. The set up is seamless but when you do need to call they are always extremely friendly, knowledgeable, flexible when needed and responsive. Their excellent communication and professionalism but in a small company mom & pop friendly kind of way really stands out to me. My elderly parents especially love them as they always need extra help with remote controls, pool heat turn-on/off, etc. Our extended family intends to continue to visit Palm Springs annual. When we do we will likely look at the La Verne and Bond properties first. But whatever we book, it will ALWAYS be at an Altamira managed property. A+ all around! ##### Matt B. It has a very cool Palm Springs vibe, from the minute you enter the bright yellow front door to the fun art throughout the house. The house itself was wonderful, we have 3 kids (11, 8 & 4) who had the best time! The home and yard are absolutely beautiful, everything is meticulously maintained. It exceeded our expectations, the pictures online don’t do it justice. If our kids had it their way, we wouldn’t have even left the house. They had endless fun in the pool, which had a large assortment of floaties. Having the casita was a great addition, our older 2 shared the space and it was nice for them to have their own place to escape the heat . Check-in was extremely easy and I would highly recommend. It's located on a busy, loud road and we heard every car passing from inside and outside the home. The irony that we were forbidden from playing a little music to drown out the car noise while we ate on the back desk was not lost on us. Our party consisted of three light sleepers, and the road noise kept one or all of us up every night. Even after ear plugs were purchased. The pool is large and sparkling clean. We were glad we paid extra to heat the pool to 88 degrees as it was the perfect temperature for our young kids to swim in. It was a treat to wake up to the beautiful mountain views from the casita and have breakfast by the pool.
