### Stunning mid century pool home with awesome golf course and mountain views!

We are only 2 miles from the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens - an easy 5 minute drive without the traffic of main roads or a 30 minute walk if you prefer. And 5 miles or 11 minutes drive from the Firebirds Ice Hockey Stadium!  
  
This is a fabulous house! It is featured on HGTV's House Hunters in an episode called Picky in Palm Springs! The house looks so different now that it has been fully renovated! A new 14’ x22' pool with a tanning shelf and great private yard! Think Mid-century meets The Brady Bunch! Built in 1972 this fabulous house features walls of glass that flood the house with light and warmth during winter. In summer the 12’ wide overhang gives shade and protection to the house and is a great place to watch the sunset. Stunning views of the golf course the house is on and the mountains that surround the area. 14' soaring ceilings and the floor to ceiling stone fireplace adds both character, sense of space and warmth. It has recently undergone an amazing total renovation and looks amazing!   
  
The spacious kitchen is an ideal place to cook up a storm! This is Indoor / outdoor living at its finest with a 12’ wide deck that runs the length of the house for seamless transitions to the outdoor living space and garden. Outside the Primary Suite is a huge sunken jacuzzi / plunge pool with waterfall feature. The living space is classic late 60’s and early 70’s.  
  
The house has been fully renovated and designed specifically for guests. Everything from roof to floor including new paint, furniture and flooring throughout. It’s relaxing homey feel reflects the era with modern conveniences. Come and enjoy this unique and special home.   
  
There is no noise from traffic and there are stunning views of the local mountains and golf course. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and we have wonderful neighbors who we are close friends with.   
  
The City is very strict about enforcing their ordinances and will give heavy fines and evict guests that do not follow them. No Parties or loud noise, music etc both inside and outside. We have NoiseAware software installed that will advise you if sound levels are too high and protect you and us from false complaints. There are also security cameras on all property entrances to monitor people coming and going so we knwo when contactors are there. These do not invade your privacy.  
\- Only 3 cars are allowed and these must be parked at all times in the garage or on the driveway.   
\- No street parking.  
\- No trash and mess outside of the home. Trash collection happens on Fridays very early.  
  
If you wish to heat the pool to a warmer temperature then you can choose to put on the gas heater. It will take the gas heater about 12 hours to heat the pool and 2 hours to heat the hot tub depending in the start temperature and how warm you want it. The cost is about $75-100 a day to heat the pool (+ a $25 surcharge for the initial heat on the first day) If you just want to heat the spa which seats up to 6 people and is what most people do in winter, so a 3 hour soak costs around $10 - 35 per session. Pool must be heated for the entire stay but the spa can be used a few hours at a time on demand.

Our pool guy comes twice a week. He will let himself in and out of the back yard. He cleans the pool and hot tub and checks the equipment. If you have any questions, ask him.   
  
The house is on the Palm Desert Country Club Golf Course. Golf is literally at your doorstep. Green fees range from $49-$99 to play this iconic golf course. The clubhouse features The Cactus Club Restaurant which offers breakfast lunch and dinner as well as music and entertainment. This a beautiful place to relax. Located close to the Tennis Center, great shopping and great restaurants.

#### Spectacular View with all the amenities

The outside comfort, large spa and the beautiful new pool was the highlight of our stay here. The amazing Mountain View’s with such majestic sunrises and sunsets kept us outside most of the time. The owners were attentive and the home very clean, organized and well stocked. We highly recommend this rental home.

#### Great Mid-70s Modern

Starting with Ruth’s greeting us, we enjoyed her house and the area. Quiet neighbourhood and neighbours made our stay very easy. Good location for the east side of the Palm Springs area especially for golfing. Ruth was easily accessible when we had questions. Hope to come again.

#### A quiet holiday spot

The house is in a quiet neighbourhood that is close to almost everything. The host is extremely attentive and everything is well looked after. We did have a small problem, and it was taken care of in an hour! The host also is very fair when it comes to finances.

#### Comfortable for family get away

Nice, big, open living space dinning/living/kitchen with enough room for everyone to hang out. Cute touches that give the house a more modern vibe and you can tell Ruth is investing in making even better with landscaping. The spa was great for the raining week we were there and the outdoor space would be perfect on spring evening. Dog friendly and easy. It is a 70s house so kitchen had a couple quirks but was expecting that so it was fine.

#### Awesome house!

We had a great time at this house. The views are amazing and it is close to everything. We joined a tennis club for the month we were there and it was perfect. We also hiked some of the great trails within 20 minutes of the house and had some wonderful meals. Ruth and Warren are very attentive to details and are there if needs arise. Highly recommend!!

#### Great place to stay, relax, and enjoy the California desert

I must start by saying that Ruth is an awesome host! The communication was super easy and Ruth was extremely helpful. I really appreciate it! The house is great! The common area is spacious and has a well stocked kitchen. The Internet is good for a few people to use plus a streaming device. The appliances are vintage but are working properly and clean. The outside is the best part. You have the spa in the back with mountain views. The enclosed space in the front for the pool was super nice. The pool has chairs and umbrellas that make it very comfortable. The location is good with Target, grocery shops, Costco, etc. 10-15 minutes away. We had a great time here and would like to thank Ruth again for being a great host!

#### Remote work getaway to the desert

We really enjoyed our month stay at Ruth’s house. She was a great host - quick to respond and eager to make our stay perfect. She checked in on us weekly. The house is a cool mid century design - amazing pool in the front yard and a huge spa in the back overlooking the mountains and golf course. We were able to easily work from here - WiFi was very strong. Ruth allowed us to repurpose one bedroom as an office and one as a home gym to accolades our needs and passions ! We had our dog with us and she loved running around in the yard and sunning herself in the afternoons. We spent most evenings out back enjoying the spa and the starry peaceful nights. Location is good. Great if you like golf. Plenty of stores and restaurants less than 5 miles away. We found some great hiking and mountain biking trails close by too. El Paseo shopping is about 4 miles. I would positively recommend this home ! She has it fully stocked to entertain and has all the spices / basics needed for cooking !

#### Pure bliss

Ruth was amazing from initial booking confirmation to the check in process. Ruth met us at the property and showed us around. She went over all the features of the home and explained how to use everything. The property was immaculate!!! The outdoor seating area and jacuzzi was by far the best part of the whole stay. The views from the jacuzzi are just unbeatable. Loved every minute of our stay and are sad to be back to reality!!

#### Amazing week in Palm Desert

What fabulous time in Palm Desert. Ruth was wonderful to work with, she really went above and beyond every step along the way. The house has such a fun Mid-Century Modern vibe with lots of cool details. In the morning, we loved sipping coffee on the patio overlooking the golf course and beautiful mountains. After a day out we would come back for cocktails in the huge jacuzzi. We had everything we needed, the house was very clean and fully stocked for cooking at home. What an amazing week in Palm Desert we'll be back for sure!
