Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier. DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE? TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee. CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED? Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings. WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS? All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper. There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets. CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME? We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered. DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS? Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). There is lots to do around the property and the beach volleyball court was a hit. We loved the mountain hikes that are right off the property. The hosts were very responsive and we were able to sort out anything we needed. The property is in an excellent location very close to lots of shopping. This was our group's second time staying at Base Camp, and we were so happy to come back. The tranquil vibe captured the essence of our retreat weekend. All the rooms are well designed and kept, and the little details, like the welcome Crumbl cookies, were such a nice touch. The setting, the pool, the outdoor amenities, the beauty, the proximity to hiking but also to El Paseo/stores and restaurants, the on top of it property management - This house is our favorite and we have stayed all over the area in some pretty classy rentals. The only thing to be aware of is Palm Springs has very strict noise rules and this home is in a location where sound can travel. Even with that would totally book this place again and go back. If you are hesitating at all, book now, you will not regret it! The home is exactly as pictured, if not better in real life. Jen and her team were impeccable hosts, always responsive and were so thoughtful, even leaving crumbl cookies for the bride at check in. If I had any concerns or questions, they were addressed within minutes, no matter the time of day. The property is private and safe but close to a Target and shopping center so it was truly the best of both worlds. We opted to hire the private chef one night and enjoyed an amazing dinner under the stars. Lots of communal and private space, not to mention all the fun games and amenities on site, from the hot tub and pools to the bocce court/ping pong table. Jen was very responsive to all our needs during our stay from providing softer pillows to quickly replacing a broken coffee grinder. She also recommended a private chef and other services prior to getting there - and that made organizing the trip super easy. The setting is beautiful, quiet and feels quite remote. Yet, whole foods, target and lots of restaurants are within 5-10 mins drive. We really enjoyed our stay and totally recommend this spot! We rented cars but barely used them because miles of hiking trails are right out the door. The weather was perfect and so were the pool and spa. With the volleyball and bocce ball courts and the fire pit it felt like a resort we never wanted to leave. So we really didn't! My only caution is to make sure the bathroom setup works for you. They felt a little removed and not as chic as the rest of the house. We stuck some of the older kids in there. The kitchen has literally everything you could ever need in terms of equipment and it was a pleasure to cook meals in. We also loved the outdoor grill. The neighborhood has a strict noise policy so this is not the house to come to if you plan on playing music past 9pm but we appreciated the quiet. The location is wonderful. The views from the backyard were exceptional. We felt like there were no other houses or people around us but yet we could walk or drive to restaurants & grocery stores nearby. "The property is absolutely gorgeous and extremely private. It's a wonderful location, with a beautiful and close view of the mountains. We had a wonderful time. The host is very responsive. The pools are beautiful, the fire pit was cozy, we had fun grilling dinner in the back yard and even the hammocks were a great way to unwind. Two minor things to be aware of: to get there, you drive for a (very) short distance onto a dirt road. We thought we had to be going the wrong way, but we weren't (Jen's directions are clear on this). The house is that private! Also, since the house is quite close to the mountains, the sun drops behind the mountains earlier in the day. We visited around Christmas and the sun was behind the mountains by around 3:30pm which made us a bit chillier outdoors. As the days get longer, that would be different and it'd even be an advantage in the summer months.
