The property looks beautiful on the outside, and the majority of the inside areas are beautiful as well, however, it is almost due for a complete update and it shows. The lobby is nice, as are the restaurants, but even the rooms that have been recently redecorated are a tad dated (early 2000s styles with a lot of scuff marks) though still nice… I wasn’t disappointed! The bathrooms in particular are spacious and lovely. The exterior areas (hallways to rooms, which are external, elevators, and walkways to the pool/beach are in need of a power wash and paint). The pool area is nice and great for kids, though the workers were hit or miss with friendliness and they could use a few more chairs. They charge for beach chairs (pool chairs are free) which I think is uncalled for as the rooms are already expensive. The food is expensive, but most of it is decent. The cafe’s oven wasn’t working while we were there some of the days which was a bummer as the only other breakfast option is Atlantic Grille… which I did enjoy, but it is pricey and the menu/service could use an update for lunch and dinner.
Overall, the resort is pretty, the rooms are solid, and the beach and pools are lovely. If you’re looking for a one stop shop resort for a beach vaca, this is a good option, especially if you have kids. There were a lot of kid activities through the week!
