I booked this hotel as a hold over until we checked into the Marriott. My family was coming in on the 5th and we wanted those extra couple days with them, so we booked here for 2 days.
For the price, it was a very decent hotel to stay at. Good location, which, when riding down the street I wasn't too sure about at first, but at night, the neighborhood comes alive. It's actually close proximity to a lot of things, you just don't realize it.
The on-site restaurant had good food, the service was a little questionable. Twice, on two different visits, I asked for something I never got, it was like they acknowledged my request, but never actually heard me or didn't care. It was odd, it was like - wait, didn't I ask for something else??
Hotel location is great just walking distance from restaurants, mall & night life (awesome) staff is really friendly food was good, no complaints despite of some bad reviews I had read before going. It seems like they have recently improved their food , according to some staffs they got knew chefs.
This was our first trip to Aruba, and we had high expectations. The Marriott is on a beautiful beach and offers many food options on property and just down the beach. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, this was a wonderful vacation.
The question on Palm Beach is this: lounge or live large? There’s a reason the major resorts and clubs are located near these calm waters. The beach is an ideal place to do absolutely nothing, with a cold drink in hand. There’s also swimming, golf, horseback riding, ATV rentals, and plenty of water sports.
