"Good place to stay in Kandy. Walking distance to most attractions. Unfortunately hotel has NO lifts and being 4 stories may prove difficult for some. Wide stairs and port service does overcome this but could be better. This should be highlighted in advertising. Breakfast buffet excellent, with evening meals available. Great view over Kandy spoilt a little by substandard building close next door. Hotel unlicensed for alcohol but I understand this is being addressed."

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"

I yet again walk in a blissful valley of peacefully flowing river, of endless sight, of warm sunshine, of glowing grass and blooming flowers, of blue sky and white clouds, of serene village life and adventurous mud road, of untold stories and some historic memories.
As I walk by the river bank falling in love with every moment passing by under the golden sunshine, I am reminded of the eternal beauty of this wonderful earth which never stops to surprise us.
We humans have created huge expectations of a 'Beautiful' world, sometimes overlooking the little joys of exploring and discovering the simplistic beauty of a neighboring land.
If explored with a open mind and joyful heart you will discover beauty in every corner of the earth.
P.S. - This valley with a river was outside my Airbnb stay in Kandy.

" Beautiful room in a lovely hotel located at the top of a hill overlooking Kandy. The hospitality shown in this hotel is 5*. Dinner is buffet style and was lovely freshly cooked local dishes. The breakfast was also really good. Highly recommend this hotel. One word of warning. The road to the hotel on Google Maps is steep and windy. The better route is coming behind Kandy hospital "
