bel emplacement
Hôtel très bien situé avec parking à disposition, ce qui n’est pas négligeable à Cefalù qui est vraiment très touristique en plein mois d’août. Pratique pour se rendre en ville à pied (10 mn max) et restauration à proximité. Bon petit déjeuner et chambre vue mer vraiment sympa.

So many bling bling all around , and half of it did not work. Light seitches , shower wil zillion jets ... etc and I did not mention the rotten smell in the bathroom, I had to put a towel ont the floor drain and all the other drains thinking that smell was comming from there.

Hi Enric Lonpre, we are happy with your review, thanks to you we have become aware of some room problems that the cleaning operators did not report to the reception. We have taken measures these days for the buttons that did not work (these days the pieces will come to replace them) and for the bad smell that was felt in the bathroom that we promptly resolved. For all the shower sketches, we have little to do, in the sense that it is an emotional shower cabin, therefore we cannot eliminate you otherwise the new guests would complain about the problem on the contrary. We thank you and invite you to come back to see us to make sure everything is working well.

La ville est très jolie, d'un côté la plage de l'autre les montagnes. Possibilité de tout faire à pied, visite, balade sur la plage ainsi qu'une randonné sur la Rocca avec une superbe vue sur toute la ville.

Excellent hôtel
Cet hôtel est idéalement situé en face de la plage de Cefalu. Un accès gratuit a une plage privée juste en face est compris. La ville est à 15 minutes à pieds le long de la mer (promenade très agréable et très belle vue). Le petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel a son parking privé juste à côté. Le personnel est accueillant.

Wir hatten uns spontan für eine Nacht in Cefalu entschieden und dieses Hotel gebucht. Direkt am Meer, ruhiges, geräumiges und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Nach einem abendlichen Spaziergang und Wein am Stran super gut geschlafen. Was will man mehr im Urlaub

Well located hotel, near the beach where you have free access to chairs and parasols. Swimming pool by the sea a five-minute walk away. Bord walk to get to the very beautiful old town. Very good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Basic room, very narrow bed and mattress too firm. Smashed patio chairs! suggestion: Offer a free bottle of water

Der standort vom Hotel ist gut, wisawie vom Meer und nahe von der altstadt. Das Hotel wirkt einwenig alt , aber was schlimm war sie reinigten das zimmer nicht gut, hobe sogar nach 1 wochigen aufenthalt noch socken vom vorgänger unterem Bett gefunden und viel Staub und Sand.

Trevligt hotell med bra läge och bra service av väldigt trevlig personal. Enda som störde oss var att det det spelades väldigt hög musik på en bar straxt nedanför. Den fanns inte där när vi var oktober 2016.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy, in an overgrown lot next to the hotel. Breakfast was good and caffè great. The rooms are a bit dated and worn down. Meets 3 star expectations though. Not a luxury property but a 15-minute walk from the downtown area and very accessible to the beach. Recommend.

The Hotel is by the beach. They provide umbrellas and the beach is great. You have a gourgeous view of the town and swim and sit on a sandy beach

Resto molto ma molto perplesso dei voti positivi ma notando che vengono rilasciati da chi ha fatto una sola recensione la risposta arriva da sola!!! La struttura potrebbe essere buona, si trova fronte mare, camera ampia ed anche il bagno, nessun servizio in camera e frigobar vuoto! Passiamo alle serie noti dolenti, personale se pur gentile e disponibile, praticamente inesistente, c’è Valentina alla reception tutti i giorni e si alterna con altra ragazza, una signora della pulizie che deve provvedere a pulire tutte le stanze, difatti, Pulizia zero! Spruzza dell’alcol in camera informando i clienti che sanificano (certamente non sanno cosa vuol dire sanificare un locale), ed al nostro primo ingresso in camera, avuta con ben tre ore di ritardo, fatta la prova classica del fazzoletto bianco passato su un ripiano alzato nero, passato altro fazzoletto ad angolo a terra ed alzato nero, fatti vedere subito alla signora ancora vicino alla ns camera si é giustificata che non arriva ai ripiani (alto un metro da terra). Il pezzo forte é la colazione dove trovi sempre la stessa unica persona che provvede a preparare, servire ai tavoli, arredare il buffet (semivuoto) insomma tuttofare ed ovviamente pur volenteroso non può riuscire in tutto. Purtroppo la cosa peggiore é che lasciano i cibi sul buffet liberi ed ogni cliente fa ciò che vuole servendosi da soli, cosa in tale periodo assolutamente vietata, il ragazzo porta al tavolo solo il caffè o cappuccino. Positives were: Good location, nicestaff and clean rooms. Negatives: Bad pillows, hotel pool closed as was the hotels private beach. We had to argue for complimentary lido usage during our stay. Breakfast was limited but that was mainly due to COVID restrictions and this perfectly normal.

Italian charm
Spend a week in Hotel Villa Gaia, lovely hotel across from the beach, short walk to town. Breakfast was great, WiFi and air conditioning in the room all fine. Rooms very clean. Beach towels available to hire from reception. Reception staff were wonderful. Cefalu is a fabulous place for a relaxing beach holiday.

The standard was excellent except that the room I was given had a shower that did not function ie the water was tepid (this was at 8 a.m), at best....most guests would have deemed it 'cold'...and it was, but am trying to be generous! Also my shower hose was full of leaking holes so it was impossible to use shower properly...I gave up in the end and washed at the bathroom sink. I did report this the following morning but it is impossible to believe that this has not been reported before, it was so bad. Such a shame, as otherwise it was a nice room rather noisy at night possibly from the fridge, I was crawling around at gone midnight trying to work out where the loud humming was coming from...couldn't find a fridge plug or would have turned it off. In the end, I settled for using my ear plugs and diving under the bed clothes. The lack of a decent shower would make it a 'no return' place from my perspective.....this shower was so deficient that it must have been mentioned many times before yet they have done nothing about it.
