Grand Hotel Wagner is a gem in Palermo. Magnificent, historical and well preserved. It is conveniently located on a quiet street near city center. Our room was super clean, marble bathroom, daily service. We absolutely loved staying in this beautifully kept and historic hotel. Many, many thanks to the reception and management team; Alida, Roberto and Wim , for their recommendations and making our stay a wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying at Grand Hotel Wagner.

A great hotel!
In a great location the Wagner has all elements of a great hotel: helpful staff, nice decor, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast. Such a nice experience in a great city.

Nice hotel, but too many hassles.
I had some problems in this hotel. First of all, the Wi-Fi was worthless. Whether I was in my room, in the lobby, or in the breakfast room, it was either painfully slow or didn’t work at all. Also, I had paid for cellular service on my phone, and it just didn’t work anywhere within the confines of the hotel. As soon as I stepped outside, it worked. Another in my party had a different cellular service and had the exact same problem. Lastly, I’ve stayed in a dozen cities in Italy including two others in Sicily, and I’ve never had a problem plugging in my universal adapter. Here I did, as my room had nothing but 3 round prong outlets. I have never needed a different adapter in Italy. I do give the staff credit because, even though it took a while, they located an adapter that fit and loaned it to me. The breakfast was good, the staff helpful, but there were too many hassles for me to ever stay here again.

We are sorry you had some issues in our hotel, but about the cellular networks it is strange, all the operators are covered in our hotel, like our WiFi connection too, all rooms have their own network in order to guarantee the best connection. In the hotel we have adaptors available for our guests in case they don't have one. Hopefully you will come back to our hotel in order to change your opinion.Kind regards

Property was beautiful and perfectly situated in the heart of Palermo. Parking is a nightmare but that's true everywhere in this city. They have valet parking but it takes 20-30 minutes to get your car when u need it.

The staff was incredible, attentive, friendly and accommodating. The first night of our stay, the ceiling was leaking near the washroom due to the air conditioner, the very next morning they moved us to a different room. The following day, my husband, myself and another couple took the train to Cefalu, we enjoyed a fantastic day there (recommend you visit Cefalu as week, very cute town), throughout the day we could smell smoke but not sure exactly what was going on, when it was time to leave we could see forest fires, we headed to catch our train but unknown to us, no trains were leaving Cefalu. We were stuck at the train station for approximately 3 1/2hrs, we called the hotel and they sent a driver for us (we had to pay, however it was well worth our safety), thank you Hotel Grand Wagner for your quick response and our safety, forever grateful. All the staff we encountered were professional and polite.

Very friendly staff! Average hotel. Certainly not 5 star but good bang for your buck. Asked for an iron to be sent to the room and not even 5 minutes later got a call asking if we were done because another guest needed it.

Fabulous center to everything hotel!
Excellent location with an old school way of providing comfort to the weary travel. Service was superior and amazing food for breakfast with local Sicilian dishes as well as US favorites such as eggs and bacon.

This is a very lovely property. We found the classic room very small for 2 people. The breakfast is a highlight with pleasant service and an excellent selection. We were thankful for the loan of an adaptor from the front desk when the new one we had brought with us from Canada stopped working.

Beautiful hotel in very convenient location. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff made our stay wonderful. Especially Wimm and Roberto at the front desk. Very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast every morning was excellent. So many choices! Davide, Mohsin and Alisia did a wonderful job every morning of our two week stay. We will definitely return to the Wagner again.

Many hotels call themselves grand but have decayed over time. Grand Hotel Wagner is absolutely stunning and even the rooms are ‘grand.’ Breakfast is 1000 times better than the typical breakfast in Italy. The staff are kind and helpful. The only problem is the WiFi which is poor whether in the room or the breakfast hall. I’m still glad I stayed at the Grand Hotel Wagner because it was memorably stunning and unique. But I can’t give it a wonderful rating with such poor internet. That said, if you don’t need great WiFi stay at Wagner and absolutely enjoy!

A pleasant stay in Palermo was had by all of us. I was fortunate to enjoy a small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. We also spent some time in the lounge areas sipping prosecco. And I was thankful for both butter as well as cannoli! Neither are traditional for breakfast in Sicily... :-) The staff was fantastic, including the valet, who was understanding when we got out of a (relatively for Sicily) huge van. And a great value for the price! Would totally stay here again.

Outstanding hotel
This hotel was amazing. The interior is like an Italian palace. The rooms And bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. Service was outstanding. Breakfast was fantastic. The car was great. Location was fabulous just st the edge if the old town. Cannot recommend highly enough.
