The newly built house in Palazzo Quaroni in via Maqueda is located on the UNESCO Arab Norman route of the city of Palermo. It is equipped with every comfort, furnishings with attention to detail. The house is located in a strategic point, in the Unesco route, a few meters from the Quattro Canti of the city, the Palazzo di Città, Piazza Pretoria, the Cathedral, Palazzo dei Normanni, Cappella Palatina and the Teatro Massimo. 500 meters from the bus stop for Falcone Borsellino airport, the central railway station and the one that leads to the beautiful and renowned Mondello beach. On foot you can visit, all the main monuments of the historic center, pedestrian path and cycle paths make pleasant walks along the various cultural routes, the UNESCO site Palatine Chapel and the renowned Vucciria- Capo \_Ballarò markets. Also for those who love nightlife, there are several clubs, pubs and restaurants. The house of 80 square meters consists of an entrance hall, kitchen, n. 02 bathrooms with shower and n. 2 bedroom with wardrobe. Guest Access The apartment is a whole property and is entirely available to guests. The agreed price includes the use of Wi-Fi, independent heating and air conditioning, use of the kitchen and car parking. No other additional costs are expected. Interaction with Guests Guests are promptly reserved an excellent welcome and assistance. Maps of the city and of Sicily are delivered. Breakfast is guaranteed on arrival with biscuits, milk, coffee, tea, seasonal fruit, jam. We remain 24/24 traceable for anything guests may need. The district Palermo historic center, one of the largest in Europe, is divided into four areas, three large markets: Vucciria - Ballarò - Capo, dozens of churches, monuments and palaces of great historical and artistic value, all within walking distance. The Central Station is 400 m away. and from there it is possible to reach both the airport and all other tourist destinations, the fabulous beach of Mondello, Monreale and Cefalù. The apartment is modern and comfortable, although the large bed is very creaky. The location is great for exploring the nightlife of central Palermo. My only complaints are that the showers are very small, and the air conditioning shuts off when you remove the key to go out, so the apartment was not as cool as I'd like when I returned from a hot day of walking around the city. ##### Monte T. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for 2 couples to stay. One bedroom is downstairs, the other upstairs. Both have their own bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed, though we did not cook there. We were able to park our rental car in the garage below the building. Unfortunately, there is only one set of keys for the apartment. And the key that turns on the electric in the apartment is attached to the keys. If someone is left behind, they have no electric. Everyone had to leave and come back to the apartment together or make arrangements with each other. That made it difficult for the two couples to feel free to explore the city. We asked the owners to get another key, but they refused. The owners love their apartment and want to protect its contents. Be careful of their property and of the flimsy chairs in the kitchen. The couple was helpful and courteous, however, they insisted that we broke a chair and we’re required to pay for its repair. We paid for the repair but we did not break the chair. Get walking distance to everything! The air conditioning is not totally under your control. In the night it seems to regulate or at least not work as well. It was very difficult to find. Google maps didn’t get us there nor apple maps. The supervisor very graciously came to meet us on a Main Street nearby. They should put to google the main avenue via Roma & cross-street then put in the address for better directions in my opinion. Overall great location!! We had a great time! ##### Deborah B. Our hosts were so kind and found us when we were lost trying to get to the right spot (we had a rental car & Google Maps couldn't keep up fast enough but we did get close and they came and found us!) It was convenient to walk around town to get to museums and restaurants, so once we finally got there, we parked the car in the covered garage and just walked until it was time to leave for our next town. Het appartement is stijlvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ligt bovendien midden in het centrum van Palermo en er is een parkeergarage onder het appartementen gebouw, handig als je met de auto bent.
