We LOVED our stay at Paia Inn! I didn’t want to stay in a super touristy area of the island and Paia Town seemed perfect for what we wanted out of our trip. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive and the room was perfect! I know others have mentioned staying above the restaurant was noisy but to our luck the restaurant was closed for a maintenance issue and we enjoyed peace and quiet our entire stay. The beach access was a great touch and the beach was gorgeous, quiet and we even saw a sea turtle! The town was our favorite part— so many shops, delicious places to eat and a great start for the road to Hana! We will definitely stay here again! Maholo!

The Paia Inn was everything we could have hoped it would be -- from the room, to the private beach, to the service we received from Raya when we checked in. The only thing I would change in the future is ensuring I stayed in a room that was not affected by the music at the connected restaurant, Vana, as it was quite loud until 10pm each night.

I stayed at the Paia Inn for one night due to driving Road to Hana the next day. It was exactly what I needed, but overall hotel is extremely overpriced. Upon checking in I asked about leaving my luggage in a storage room the next day, however I was never able to do so because the front desk closed early and wouldn’t be back until the next morning at 8:30AM, which seems extremely late for a hotel desk. As someone previously pointed out, I too am confused about the amenity charge, considering it is a very basic hotel. Good starting point for RTH, but I’d much rather stay elsewhere in the area or Hana for the cost.

Super cute spot in the heart of Paia. Clean room and friendly/helpful staff for the most part. Definitely a charming get away with a Beach access behind the property. We did stay in one of the front rooms right on the main street which was a little loud. Next time I would stay in the back of the property other than that everything was great.

Paia is so cute! This hotel is the best place to stay in Paia - it’s so cute. Staff is nice! I loved it!!!!! It’s right downtown so you can walk to wonderful restaurants or shops. Definitely stay here! I will return. Thank you!

Liked the location for the north side of the island and we liked the staff. The street facing room we had was noisy with street noise all night. After the first night we were offered a quieter room and we regret not taking them upon the offer. Plenty of local eateries, but breakfast was less convenient for us. Their Nespresso was not enough. Recommended but don't get the rooms on the main street.

A little of Old and New, Nicely Done
A small but elegant room in the middle of an old style town, a diamond in the ruff for sure, the receptionist was all professional and welcoming. The room looked modern, but the feel and ambiance was from a time long ago, a time machine of sorts…..very glad i picked this one instead of a large chain hotel, cheaper too…..

Just lovely.
Paia Inn was wonderful! This historic building in the heart of a little walkable town was exactly what we were hoping for. They have a lovely secret pathway back to a private beach area that was nearly magical. The rooms are updated, the shower was HOT, and the bed was super comfortable. I’m just sad we didn’t spend more time here!

Wonderful place to stay, right in town so very convenient and walkable and also right on the beach, almost, just down a little hill and across some rocks and to the left and you’re just on a beautiful Sandy beach with great swimming and you’re guaranteed to see sea turtles. But there’s a beautiful garden that overlooks the ocean.. What more could you want!

Beautiful property with an easy walk to a seemingly private beach area. We also loved the walkability to Pa’ia town with lots of shops and delicious restaurants.

The staff was amazing and made us feel welcome everywhere we went! Beach access and availability of chairs etc. was a huge bonus! I highly recommend this specialty, boutique hotel. Go Paia! Go Maui!

The restaurant was lovely. The grounds are cute, but the room it definitely petite. The description did say that the room faces the main road. It was very loud early in the morning. You can hear all of the cars and trucks. It’s a very basic need hotel. A place to rest your head. Again this is for the petite room, so it may be a different experience for the rooms toward the private beach. The grounds were cute but not really kept up. The rate was not worth the room.

Very nice, welcoming. I felt spoiled. I was on Maui for work/volunteer purposes after the fires and put up here by non-profit organization. I hope to return here at a better time.

Beautiful apartment in Paia
Amazing location with a very private beach full of turtles. Huge private patio teeming with birds and geckos. We had a delightful time.

Little City View Rooms, don’t do it.
No AC’s and a broken noisy fan in the small city rooms, didn’t seem to work in the bigger city rooms. Vibe, location, and restaurant / bar and restaurant / bar staff were great. But after long days of photography, hiking, etc. got to have a place to sleep. Missed the mark on that.
