Close to Spring Mountain race Track, Front Sight and Death Valley National Park, Less than an hour from Fabulous Las Vegas this is the place to stay when checking items off your bucket list! With a private entrance and common area laundry facility access on request you will not be disappointed. The Space: 5-star accommodations include spa robe and disposable slippers for up to 2 guests. The Courtyard is completely fenced in with a gate leading to the fully fenced front yard making a safe place for your pets to conduct their business. There is a chest style ice freezer with complimentary bagged ice located in the courtyard. In walking distance of 2 gas station / convenience stores and less than a 5-minute drive from all Casinos in Pahrump. There are also full RV hook ups on site with room to park an RV if someone in your group is traveling with an RV and wants to stay near you. Contact the host for RV pricing. Guest Access & Amenities: Daily cleaning available for an additional fee. Pahrump's newewst dispencery is located a mere few hundered yards away across highway 160\. We are in walking distance of 2 gas station / convenience stores and less than a 5 minute drive from all Casinos in Pahrump. The Neighborhood: We are located less than 5 minutes from Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch and have access from the front yard to countless OHV trails in the Charleston Peak mountains. We're also in close proximity to Red Rock National Conservation Area, Tecopa Hot Springs, Ibex and Dumont dunes, and don't forget to visit Death Valley National Park when checking items off your bucket list. A little known fact - Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park is the lowest elevation in North America sitting at 282.6 feet below sea level and is surprisingly close to the highest elevation in the contiguous (lower 48) United States which is Mount Whitney in the Sequoia National Park with an elevation of 14,505 feet. They are less than 88 miles (142 kilometers) apart with an elevation change approaching 15,000 feet. Artesian Cellars Winery is so close to the Casita it's within walking distance. The winery offers tasting flights of up to 5 of their locally and regionally produced wines. I recommend starting with the dryer wines first and graduating to the sweeter wines. They have a fantastic selection of "Flushies" that I strongly recommend (Frozen sweetened wine slushies)! They have live music on Friday nights and offer small plates and charcutery boards with some of the most unique tastes you've ever experienced. The Pahrump Nugget is the only casino in Nye County with gaming tables and also offers slot play, bingo, bowling, sports betting and is home to one of the best steakhouses in town. T-Mobile Arena, Home of the Vegas Golden Knights and the new Raiders Stadium are a mere hour from Pahrump. Well worth the drive to avoid the crowds of Vegas. It could take you over an hour to get there from North Las Vegas or Henderson in traffic. If you plan to visit Las Vegas I strongly recommend taking the scenic byway through Red Rock Canyon. It is absolutely breathtaking and only adds a few minutes to the drive. Simply turn left at Hwy 159 if traveling to Vegas on Hwy 160 from Pahrump. If you plan to utilize Dumont Dunes for OHV activities don't forget to pick up your pass. The only place in Pahrump they're available is Parker's Kawasaki located at 1201 S. Hwy 160 near the center of town and just minutes up the street. The Chicken Ranch, made famous by the movie "Best Little Whore House in Texas" starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton, offers free daily tours and has a fascinating history. Chris's property was the perfect place to stay while my fiance and I visited Death Valley National Park. It was super clean and exactly as advertised on the listing. Robes and slippers were provided, which was a nice extra touch. When we arrived at nearly 11pm, we had some issues getting into the property. Chris answered the phone right away and told us the door gets stuck sometimes and how to jiggle it open. Overall no issues, I would definitely stay again! ##### Divya P. The Casita was perfect for my husband and I while I attended the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School for several days at Spring Mountain. The Casita was a good size, super clean, easy to access, comfortable bed, good WiFi, easy parking and quiet. It’s also a short drive to Spring Mountain and centrally located to nearby restaurants and stores. There is also a desk where my husband worked all day on his laptop while I was at Spring Mountain. I love that the hosts thought of so many details like the robes and slippers, coffee/creamer, microwave, small refrigerator, extra toothbrush and other toiletries. The host, Sherrie, was super responsive when we had questions and was very sweet as well. We definitely recommend staying here over a hotel and will book again when we return to the area. Everything we needed in a private setting. Comfortable bed, big TV with Roku so we could sign in to our own streaming channels, little fridge to keep some snacks and half & half for coffee (in addition to the Casita owner already had provided flavored coffee creamers, sugars, no calorie sweeteners & coffee or hot chocolate k-Cups). The shower was fantastic - Nice and hot with great water pressure. So friendly and welcoming. The hosts are friendly and helpful. They also fully respect your privacy. Unlike various hotels, there is a microwave and reasonably sized fridge+freezer combo in the Casita. The place is super clean, spotless even! It's well-lit. It's quiet. There is air conditioning, but the actual unit is not in the room so you get the cool air without the noise. The bed is very comfortable. You can access various content and channels on the TV, much better than an analog internal cable TV network in a hotel. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay. Having a car is highly recommended, but the area is bikable if you really want to. Just bring puncture-resistant tires and/or self-sealing inner tubes (both available at the local Walmart) as your tires will encounter some thorns around town. There really is no downside.
